In a remarkable tale, three men—an Englishman, an Irishman, and a Scotsman—walked into this sports pub and returned 6 days straight without fail. True Story!!!!

For those visiting from out of town, expatriates, traveler's, nomads, or sports fans seeking a lively atmosphere, there's no better place than PARLAY. A delightful vacuum of sports entertainment, coupled with impeccable service, amazing drinks, and Meghan (more on that later).

The staff at Parlay are an absolute gem. They'll point you towards the best local beer, decipher the mysteries of American football, and make sure your glass never stays empty for long. Need a food recommendation amidst the menu madness? They're on it with a smile.

“Ah, about Meghan. Are we destined to be lifelong BFFs? Maybe, probably, who knows, but if you are ever visiting please ensure you acquaint yourself with the one and only Meghan B. Not only does she make a mean Espresso Martini, the banter is top-notch, the smile infectious and her presence behind the bar brings the whole place to life. If you are a Love Island fan you are in particular luck! Get ready to have your ear chewed off about the latest ‘Australian’ season (apparently that is a thing) 🙂

Seriously, a big thank-you to Meghan and the entire Parlay team. They are undoubtedly the reason why our group kept coming back night after night. This is written by an Englishman. We don't fib; these are just facts! If I wasn't living clear across the pond in Amsterdam, Parlay would absolutely be my local.

While the environment of this restaurant is fantastic, the experience of eating and drinking there not so much. My friends were here from out of town and really wanted to watch the game on Thursday and I suggested Parlay having been past the location 20 times a week for work. Everything seemed okay - we arrived around 7:45, kickoff was 8:15 and we got to our table. While there is 1000+ TVs (advertised), somehow we were still in a spot where there was no TV all that close but oh well - small first world problem.

The real problem was our service at the restaurant - we placed our appetizer orders around 7:50 along with our drinks (just soda). Soda took about 15 min (i am okay with this - its busy). Our appetizers did not get delivered to us until 8:55. It took over an hour and the only communication we received was the waitress walking by and saying "oh your appetizers are coming". Well, after about 50 minutes, we are finally told that our appetizers were given to the wrong table and that they were remaking ours. My friends and I are hangry at this point. Eventually, our food does come out and it is ice cold - and they bring our appetizers and entrees at the same time (what is the point then....). There was no offer to comp the appetizers and no plan to stagger the food out. Needless to say, I will not be back. I am sure it was a fluke experience - things happen but it was...

If you get a chance to check this place out, Do so! Think sports bar meets gourmet.. This place has more tvs than anyone would need. It sits at the entrance to the short north right next to the convention center. A very vibrant area with lots to do. There is parking behind the building for about $4 for 2 hours and Valet if you wish infront of the restaurant for about $9. The building is pretty neat too see the pics for more on that. The menu has some pretty high quality items and you will make a mess if you get a burger because they don't fit in your mouth they are piled up like you would see In a 5 star burger restaurant or bistro. I think some of the best burgers are made that way. I loved the BBQ burger. Staff are excellent and attentive to every need. I can't recommend anything specific because all the food is delicious, but I did have the $18 drink and as you can see In the picture it has a unique large iceball with it. I thought that was pretty neat! I'm a bit of a light weight and after 1 of these I was definitely buzzed. A must try! I would recommend going hungry because the portions are pretty big and as I said everything is YUMMY! I missed the happy hour but it would be awesome because the apps are delicious.
