I am giving this place 5 stars because of their quality and more importantly their service. I have bought an engagement ring, a wedding band and a matching 5 year anniversary band.

The reason I keep going back is because of the service I recieved from their staff and Shane the year I was overseas.

I was overseas for an entire year as a service member in Korea. My 5 year anniversary was coming up and I knew I wanted to add a band to her ring. I emailed the store seeing if they had my previous purchases on record because I forgot the ring size and other elements. Shane responded to my email (the same day) and found everything! I told him that I wanted the exact same thing as my wife's wedding band and was curious if he could do me a favor and ensure its prompt delivery on our anniversary date since I would not be there. Shane had the ring ordered and ready to go months in advanced and made it so easy when my plans changed and I was able to come home and be able to pick up the ring myself. It was exactly what I expected as an identically matched ring to the wedding band. When I went to pick up the ring, I was shocked that when I told a coworker of Shane's my name to pick up the ring, Shane immediately recognized my name (even though it was over several months and he had never met me) and said "welcome home!" I was stunned as he didn't know me and we chatted. As we were chatting I noticed a calendar with to do's on the wall. It caught my eye because I thought I saw my name, which I did. It was Shane's reminder to overnight my ring to my wife! He then said "he refused to let something this special to fall through" and he then showed me a couple more reminder notes he saved to ensure that my wife would get her ring on time and preserve the romantic gesture I intended.

I was a little worried that it could have been messed up originally, but after meeting Shane and still receiving the quality at an afford price, I know I will never shop anywhere else for my wife's diamonds or jewelry. Very Dissapointed with my customer service experience here. Wouldn't come back nor recommend. Nothing has prices on it. The owner is only person able to close a deal and he looks at you and determines how much he thinks you are willing to spend. Price can change every time you come in due to this method.

Details: I went in for a watch battery replacement (charged $25) and a new leather watch band (originally charged $75). The first band they put on for me (they tried to "sales" me out the door with) but it had a chunk out of the bottom and other evidence of prior wear. They didn't have any others in stock and said could not re order in time. That band was going to run me ($125). So as not to loose the sale they put on an ugly brown band that I could have gotten at kohls for $7-$12 and charged me $75+$25 out the door with the promise that the person for whom I was purchasing could come back and exchange it, if need be, and they would take "GOOD" care of him. I had my children with me and didn't have any extra time to problem solve after the already 1.45 hours I had been there.

We go back, well within 30 days, and they remember us, but do not want to exchange the watch band as they assume it had been worn (which it had not, because I told him not to, so we could get something not so cheep and ugly looking). FYI: They did not tell me out the door that He could not wear it in order for a return to be valid.

He finds something he likes, they put it on, they argue with us about returning the other band. They wanted us to purchase both. SO ANNOYING. They tell us the new band will run us $150 for a band I could have gotten on EYSY for $40 to $65 for a raw edge natural leather espresso stained strap. Nothing fancy. No stiching, and $25 more than the prior quote. Watch how they ring you out. They charged me double sales tax when they finally agreed to the exchange, I'm not going back to figure it...

I had an amazing experience at this jeweler after months of frustration. For quite some time, I searched for someone to help me find a setting for a loose diamond I owned. Believe it or not, this is not as easy as it sounds. The place I began my search with, located in Toledo, decided to not return my calls at all. Another in Columbus never followed up on a message I left inquiring about their services. I began to search around and read reviews about other jewelers in Columbus. The amount of great reviews is what honestly lead me to Alexander's Jewelers, and I will say they did not disappoint! I work nights, so I left a message detailing what I was looking for in a setting for my diamond. Within 12 hours I received a response. I was invited into the store to meet with Gabrielle the same day. She was prepared on all fronts to help me find what I was looking for. After some time, we arrived at the conclusion that what I wanted needed to be custom made. Gabrielle had a setting made for me that was exactly what I wanted all along. The customer service was top notch, she kept me updated on the progress periodically and even provided a mock up of what my ring would look like. When the setting arrived, I provided the stone, and the ring was made same day. It looked amazing and was everything my fiancee and I were looking for.
