This was the first (and last) time at this location, our family arrived at 8:35 pm on a Sunday and we were immediately greeted by a young lady (both women working were very rude) that said they were closing and we could only order take out. I have a family of 4 and we tried to order sub's for everyone and only three of us could get a sandwich, so we added a large fry to the order, which cost $30.56. We had 2 -12" Italian sub's and a 6" pizza sub, and large fry, when we got home to eat one of the 12" Italian sub's was so salty it wasn't even edible and nearly made my 10 year son sick. I'm completely horrified by this experience, we have eaten at Penn Station for years, including when we lived in Tennessee. It is unfortunate that this establishment has extremely rude staff, and lousy food, because this Penn Station is extremely close to my house, and is without question our families favorite sub place. Read moreOrder not ready at quoted pickup time, sub was sitting ready on their toaster counter when arrived, waited 9+ minutes after arriving for a pickup order for half raw fries. Due to their timing logic, resulted in a sub with cooked lettuce & tomato by the time I received it.
Was told by manager “fries aren’t cooked until you arrive”. This contradicts their app and ticket “order ready time” is not anywhere what it says. I reached out via website to share my issues, owner hasn’t responded and it’s been 5 days. Haven’t been to this location in 3 years due to wait times for dine in then, won’t be back. This is sad since we live up the road less than 3 minutes and I love the food. Just not from this location.
