I don’t have enough nice things to say about this Starbucks and their staff. I usually go through the drive thru and the girl with the bright hair (cannot recall her name) is always so delightful when she is there: very genuine and kind. Helped me reload my card a few times and anytime I make a mistake (forgetting to say my dairy free milk at the order part) she always makes me feel okay about the mistake and promptly fixes it. On the few times I have brought my kids inside, the staff, particularly, a individual named H has always been an absolute pleasure! He is always so great to talk to! Catherine and Ashley are also lovely to talk to. Very personable. Entire morning crew is always so welcoming and when they have samples out, my kids have a blast. This store is out of my way slightly, but I will gladly go through Polaris traffic to get here for the staff alone! Not to mention: food and drinks are always top notch. Best Starbucks in Columbus area by far.
Con: Drive thru is very tight and parking lot is on the smaller side (store is smaller too) but aside from that, the best in town!
UPDATE: I left this review quite a while ago, but I saw a very negative review about the barista (with the bright hair) I mentioned in my OG post when trying to get directions. Now that I’ve gone back several times because of HER, I know her name is Abbey. She is the kindest barista I’ve ever met and knows my order. She puts little stickers on my cups and always greets not only me, but EVERYONE with a smile. Maybe she was having a bad day, but as a black woman, she has never looked at me sideways or been rude. Read moreMy wife & I have been faithfully coming to this location for the past 2 years and over that past 6mo to a year the service have taken a major turn for the worse. They’ve hired a new staff and some of the girls give you attitude when you request to have your drink remade because of their error. We get the same drinks like clockwork so their shouldn’t be any issues it everyone makes it different which we’ve came to the conclusion that they’re not reading our cups to make the drinks exactly how we’ve ordered them. I’ve stood there and literally watched my drinks being made and instantly sent them back because I seen exactly what they did wrong only for the barista to try to tell me how I ordered my drink, to then look at my cup and actually read it with full understanding and then go make it correctly. We’ve definitely decided to switch locations due to these issues. It didn’t use to be this bad back in summer of 2020 when we first moved out this way and became faithful to this location. The staff was more than accommodating and extremely welcoming they began to know us by name. A couple of them are still there but aren’t typically there anymore during the times we order. Read moreWe arrived yesterday at about 6 pm. There were 4 people working--one on the drive-through (the only one to make eye contact with us), one seeming to make orders for the drive-through, and 2 chatting away while one of them held a cash drawer in hand. Nobody was in line. There were 3 people sitting with their laptops and another man on his cell phone chatting away. We waited for about a minute at the cash register for someone to acknowledge our presence, when nobody did I tried to get their attention and commented about their service not being very professional, at which point someone came to the register, but very slowly. She took the orders correctly, but whoever made our drinks got both of them wrong. We didn't stick around to try to deal with this staff. I called this morning and asked to speak to a manager. The gentleman on the phone said she wasn't at work (apparently, she was one of the 4 listed above), but said he was a supervisor and could handle my phone call. I explained to him what happened and all he could say was, "I'm sorry, Dear," and then he kept referring to me as Dear. I informed him that I did not know him and I did not feel it was appropriate for him to address me by that, especially with the tone he used when I was upset that he was not able to deal with the complaint, as he told me he could.
