Taco Bell — Restaurant in Columbus

This location was very nice in terms of accessibility! It was clean and relatively quiet besides the slight noise from the kitchen and beeping sound that plays when an order is being made. Though some might find the lights too bright, it wasn’t too overwhelming. A point of accessibility I found helpful were the kiosks you can use to order; they are closer to the ground making it easier for wheelchair users, and they’re beneficial for those who do not feel comfortable ordering at the counter. Similar to this, this location offers mobile ordering and a pickup station inside. Next, the dining room area had numerous accessible seating options and the drink station was easy to access for all types of disabilities. Other areas that had good access was the counter for ordering, which was lowered, and large accessible parking spaces. Finally, the bathrooms were accessible and clean as well. The only thing that I found less accessible was the door to come in and out, which was heavy and not automatic, so it could be difficult for those with a disability. I placed an online order early in the morning and didn’t come to pick it up until late at night. This delay caused confusion, but the employee who helped me immediately went to work to fix it and called his manager and got it sorted out. I was very appreciative of this because I learned this location closes earlier than other Taco Bell’s and I arrived only 20 minutes before close. As a former food service employee, I just want to highlight the outstanding service I received and I want to state that this location will be my go to Taco Bell location in Columbus as a result. This is a very new location, and when I tried in over the summer—because it has the best ratings versus other Taco Bell’s around—I was severely disappointed that they had a roof leak. (Since it hadn’t been raining, I presume it was because of the AC?)
