Absolutely outstanding experience! I ordered hot Jazmin tea with honey on the side. The tea was a real deal! I ordered a Vietnamese sandwich known as "Banh Mi". A perfectly toasted french bread with cilantro, fresh jalapeno pepper, shredded pickled carrots, roasted boneless pieces of delicious chicken, cucumber and Daikon. Placed over a waxed paper and served on a small oval shaped plastic red basket. For more tasting, I topped up a notch by adding Sriracha Hot chili sauce and Hoisin sauce. I requested for the bread to be extra crispy and it was perfect-licious.... I loved when the server fulfill my special request. Mmmmmm....... yummy! I highly recommend that you tried their delicious food. Then, I ordered another delicious meal. "Fried Tofu" (Dau Hu ran), like tempura, not greasy, so perfectly crispy, fried untill golden brown, served with tiny pieces of pickled scallions over the fried rectangular pieces of tofu. With four big lettuce leaves on the side, and three slices of tomatoes with a special sauce in a separate bowl. So, I placed the pieces of fried Tofu over the lettuce leave, added a tomatoe slice, wrapped it up and deepened on the house tofu sauce together with the tiny pieces of pickled carrots and enjoyed the delicious mix of flavors bursting in my mouth. I highly recommend it! The price was very good for the quality of each meal. The lamps hanging from the ceiling are a must see piece that add a nice classy touch to the room. The lighting is soothing. The customer service was great. The atmosphere was relaxing, friendly, and comfortable. The entrance is wheelchair accessible. The courtesy and good manner was a plus. I observed one of the employees, a young man, that greeted and thank each customer as they left the restaurant. That was unique and very impressive. I am definitely going back soon! And you should go too! If you enjoyed my review, feel free to like it, rate it and share it! Your comments and suggestions...
Read moreThe food is pretty good but I wasn't very satisfied with our visit. I came with a group of 8 people, plus 2 babies. The service was alright, not the greatest. When a waitress came to ask about appetizers I asked for a small bowl of wonton soup, she came back about 5 minutes after I ordered and told me "Oh, by the way, the bowl of wonton soup you ordered is a very large bowl of soup". I came for phö, so I wasn't expecting another large bowl of soup. I told her it was fine, even though I specifically asked for something smaller, I didn't want to seem rude. I asked them if they could put the wonton soup in a to-go container. They didn't put it in a container even though I asked multiple people to please bring me a something to put the wonton soup in, they would say "okay, be right back" but ignore me. The wonton soup was taking a lot of space on the table, as there were 7 other people with large bowls and plates of food. They waited to give it to me until they brought out the checks. We paid up front, left a good tip, and left. One of the people we came with called us and told us the employees said we didn't pay for our food. But we had our receipt and told them we did in fact pay for our food and told them the amount we paid and the girl we gave the money to. Maybe it just wasn't a good day for them that day. I'd still eat there, the food is good, I just wouldn't be expecting very...
Read moreMy daughter craved some Pho noodle and I came for the Banh Mi (Vietnamese) sandwich. I'm a little biased since I'm Asian but the broth for the Pho soup was not as good as my mom's. The broth MAKES the soup. It's requires a lot of time to slow cook the bones and vegetables so that it imparts the right flavor. The broth here was bland in flavor. But if you're never had good then you'd probably wouldn't know the difference and this would be pleasing to your palate. I was hoping the grilled pork Banh Mi sandwich would be as good as I had at other Asians restaurants. While the grilled pork had a good flavor, the sandwich was "dry." By dry I mean there weren't any sauces on the sandwich. I was expecting a little mayo to help lighten the sriracha and to bring the other ingredients together. The sandwich is 6 inche french bread bun halved and stuffed with your meat of choice, sliced cucumbers, cilantro and Vietnamese pickles (daikon radish & carrots). I really like more pickles on my sandwiches then what they give me. I did ask for mayo, which they didn't have of course. To help make my sandwich better, I did put some sriracha sauce on it. I've had Banh Mi sandwiches from Atlanta and Newnan's Asian store that tastes much better and cheaper. $3 (Atlanta) & $3.50 (Newnan). They did serve Boba tea and smoothies. I did enjoy...
