Yau's Chinese Bistro — Restaurant in Columbus

I normally don't go to google to complain, but this experience was too bad not to say anything. I ordered delivery through grubhub, and upon arrival, my Chicken Lo Wein was completely burnt. Pretty much black. I called the restaurant and the guy said he would remake it if I could come pick it up. Since I'm in Cbus for work and only taking Uber for transportation I told him there was no way I could pick it up and would need it redelivered to which he agreed. He tried to hang up so I asked if he needed my location and he said no and hung up. I called again and another guy answered saying, "not me, no, no, not me..." And hangs up. Probably the worst experience I've ever had from a restaurant through Grubhub. Go somewhere else with actual good food and staff that...

My husband and I ordered thru Doordash, and it arrived super fast, but everything was SO GROSS.

My eggroll was crisp on the outside, but the inside was complete mush and didn't taste good.

I ordered Sesame chicken and my husband got General Tso's. The sauce was so gross -- like ketchup and sweet Chile sause -- and that was it. And the only difference between our dishes was that mine had a sprinkle of sesame seeds on top.

The crab Rangoon was good, but the dipping sauce was weird. Very acidic - like vinegary. I'm glad I accidentally ordered extra sides of steamed rice - that's what we had for dinner.

I miss Happy Dragon that used to be on Livingston by The Kitchen. It closed a couple years back and I'm still searching for a new go-to. Haven't found a...

Ordered from Yaos tonight for dinner. We received our order and the rice container was broken open and rice spilled all over the bag and other items.

We ordered spicy chicken wings as well. When we opened the box we noticed that there was an extremely long piece of metal attached to one of the wings in our order. See attached.

Called to get the wings refunded and they said there is nothing they can do. Their answer was to reach out to the delivery service. They offered credit but I am not sure I would come back.

This is incredibly unsafe and not sanitary. Please reconsider if you’re planning to order from this monstrosity.

EDIT: Found a bone in the General Tsos chicken as well which is a choking hazard as well...
