Hmmmm. Well. The hostess's greeting was "not" a friendly greeting. She took us to a narrow space filled with very many loud tables and tried to get us into a tiny little booth and we said no this is too claustrophobic...and noisy......we'de something a little bit more open and a table and it seemed to have stressed her a little bit. When we asked for a specific section she said she couldn't put us there because she needed the waiter or the server over there to "catch up". The table she steered us toward had not been bussed properly and somebody's dirty napkin was underneath it was obvious and in plain sight and she still proceeded to sit us there and I said well I don't mind sitting here if you pick up that dirty napkin and she did and she put it in the "open" tiny little garbage that was about 5 feet from where I was sitting and did not pick up the garbage that didn't quite make it into the garbage bin! so it was hard to sit there because it looked so dirty. Chili's has a sad old look to it. it needs to be updated if you're going to keep with the times. There should never be an open garbage pail visible to diners.... ever! And I don't know how many waiters and servers went by the napkin that was on the ground next to the garbage and never stopped to pick it up. Then we were served water in Cloudy plastic mugs? Yuck! I wasn't sure if the bottom of my mug was dirty or not! I couldn't tell and I didn't want to drink the water. And although our waitress was nice and efficient she looked stressed and customers and clients do not want a stressed looking waitress or waiter. We asked for our Waters and I asked for a glass of wine and it took 10 minutes to come back with wine and water. When the server put the water down it dropped water all across our table & she saw it but never came back to clean it up. We asked our waitress for an appetizer of fried pickles and could we get those before our meal and she assured me that they would come out before and they did but they weren't very good. they were very sour. Being an East coaster and knowing what fried pickles tastes like these were to greasy and sour. Then I asked for the Caribbean Salad minus the red pepper and the sesame seeds and instead of honey vinaigrette a blue cheese dressing and the waitress had to stop what she was writing into some tablet and get a piece of paper and bring it over and leaned over the table and say okay tell me this again because these buttons on this tablet are too specific and you're being specific so I need to write this down. I will say the Caribbean salad was very good and I enjoyed that and my husband had a small bowl of the chili and when it arrived it came with a rather large round spoon and he doesn't like round large spoons... he wanted a teaspoon and when we asked our waitress for a teaspoon we were informed that "Chili's doesn't have teaspoons"... this is the spoon that they serve with tea with hot chocolates with coffee with everything and I find that unbelievable. When my wine arrived... The table was splattered in water and I asked that server could he bring some napkins so we could clean this up and instead he brought over his dirty wet bar towel and wiped down the table in front of me and then did bring us over napkins and a setup. All in all I give it a thumbs down and probably won't come back....
Read moreI had an absolutely AWFUL experience here. I work nightshift just around the corner from this location. I ordered my food for pick up on the website at 20:50, i was told my food would be ready between 21:11 and 21:16. I was told to wait for a confirmation text message which would tell me what time i can pick it up. It got to 21:40 and i gave up waiting for the text message as it had already been 20 minutes over the time they gave me and i knew they closed at 22:00, so i decided to drive over and go inside. I went to the pick up counter where there was a server standing there, i greeted him and told him i had a pick up. He stared blank in to my face, ignored me and carried on doing whatever he was doing on the computer. After a couple of minutes, he finally asked " whats your name " ? Again, he said nothing, walked away, and came back with what i thought was my order. I rushed back to my office, opened it up, to find my food was absoutley FREEZING, not only that but a percentage of my order was not there. I tried calling for 20 minutes straight in hopes they could remake my food, or at least give me what was missing and of course there was no answer. I used to love this location and came often with my husband, i dont know what has happen to this location lately. I know with take out, it will never be as good as dining in, but i did not expect to be greeted with that level of service, let alone the food...
Read moreVery very disappointed!!!! I walked in with my family to celebrate my brother's birthday with a party of 10 we walked in at at 8:15 pm once we walk in we where greeted by a hostess we told her there were 10 of us and she walked away. Then came back and told me us she didn't know where she could put us mind you the had a whole bunch of open seats she said it could take between 3 to 30 mins and we said ok we will wait, she then walked away i walked by the restroom and seen her walking to another lady in the kitchen could of been a manager, the hostess walks back to our group and says actually I didn't realize that if you wait 30 mins it will roughly be the time we do the last call for food so I don't think I can seat us down it was roughly 838 when she told us this so at that point I was mad I told her you know what I don't want to eat here at a place very unprofessional because you close at 10 there is plenty of time but you want to be lazy and not attend us. I will go give my money to some other place that is will to seat me down. It's there lost of business because I will never go back to that location and a lost of a big tip because I'm a waitress and bartender and I tip my people well , owner needs to talk to his people because his employees are making them...
