Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Concord

I have a SEVERE tomato allergy and when I asked the girl who handed my bag through the window she was certain there were no tomatoes, she nervously looked back to the two who made it, and said, "No tomatoes!" I trusted her and drove 30 minutes home. I get home, and as I go to cut my sandwich in half, my left hand starts burning and swelling. I also looked as to why my sandwich was so uncharacteristically thick! They put tomatoes on then tried to HIDE them by adding double meat!!! I called the manager who identified himself as "E" and he made light of my allergy and went to the go to response of, "Well, if you come back we can replace the sandwich". He clearly didn't listen to a word I was saying about I was having an allergic reaction and I'm 30 minutes away! I go to Jimmy John's once in a blue moon because I don't have one in my area and it's kind of a "treat". Well this will become one "treat" I will happily...

Placed an order for delivery at 1210 pm. At 1252 called the store, the gentleman that answered the phone stated that "a third party was called to deliver and it was picked up at 1232 pm". I stated I had not received it yet and would wait another 30 minutes and if " I haven't received it by that time I would call back and someone was making me a sandwich". So 30 minutes later at 122 pm I called back and stated I was at that point going to pick up my food, but you need to do something about the delivery fee. To the credit of the Staff they didn't charge for the food. I realize that not all "3rd party delivery people " are shady, however the reason I ordered from your establishment is cause your supposed to be " freaky fast" I assumed (wrongfully) that jimmy johns delivered thier own product as they have before. I have never had a good experience when a fast food delivery chain used a third party delivery...

Great food, "Freaky Fast" while in store. Friendly staff and a solid chain for submarine sandwiches. However, delivery time did not meet my expectations.

I ordered online around 1:15 p.m. and Jimmy Johns has an online order tracker that shows you the status. It states that the order was received a minute later, confirmed a minute after, and states the order was out for delivery around 1:30. I didn't receive my order until an additional 20 minutes after it was "out for delivery", marking the total time from ordering 35 minutes. While I may expect this from a local pizza delivery, for a company whose slogan is "Freaky Fast", I wasn't that impressed with their delivery time, especially when another sandwich shop less than a mile away delivers in almost half...
