If you appreciate paying to have someone do a kindergarten job on your nails then you picked the right place. I spent $265 on a day out for my sister, my daughter and myself. You would think when spending even a small amount of money to get your nails done that you would atleast be treated decent, even if the workers are less than talented. The shorter, heavier, woman with no makeup and the petite one with bleached ends and rotted teeth were not only disrespectful but beyond unprofessional. I bled five times. Five times that she chopped skin off with my cuticle without even one apology! Five times that my blood mixed into their products in the most disgusting, unsanitary way. She continued to stick my finger into the SNS dip even after cutting a piece of skin on my finger deep enough that it is an evident cut. I will be posting pictures of my horrid nail job that I paid a pretty penny for if of course they approve them. I pointed out that she gapped the dip from the base of my nail and it looked as if they had been growing for two weeks. She claimed that because my nail was short, she couldn’t thin the dip on it and that was why there was a gap. Not because she had an unsteady hand and impatiently buzzed off some of the dip with the nail grinder. When I asked her to fix the shape of my nails she went from happy to crazy in about 5 seconds. I understand it takes time to fix nails that are messed up and that can be frustrating BUT if she had any talent at all we wouldn’t have had to ask her to fix anything. Every nail she dipped had pieces of fingernail exposed underneath. It was outrageous. She was rude and couldn’t help but to run her mouth to her buddy the entire time she attempted to fix her mistakes. Then she had the audacity to insult my daughter. She is fortunate that I was able to walk out gracefully knowing that I would be sharing my experience with the world. Thank God for honest reviews, I know I have benefited from them many times and I can only hope that if you are unsure of whether or not to visit this place, that my review assists your decision. Save your money and go somewhere else! They don’t deserve the one star...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this salon for the past three years. Within that timeframe, I’ve observed a few employees hired and many leaving. I encourage you to read the reviews over the past year and judge based on that.
I was very disappointed that the owner allowed her employee, Celena, to barge in on a conversation and lie about being an owner just so that she can offer her very rude opinion. Celena came into work with a low vibrating energy that was very imposing. My conversation with Katie (owner) pertained to a service (the tech was upset by me asking her to remove ingrown nails and decided she wouldn’t finish) I was unhappy with.
Celena made it clear that my business was no longer welcomed, forgetting that it’s my business that keeps her employed. This is unacceptable and as a paying customer for 3yrs, I will not be back. Professionalism and customer service is everything and this established lacks that.
Update to Celia’s response after my review above:
In order to sustain a business that is flourishing and successful, customers should be top priority. The true issue here is, Kim was upset that I asked her to remove ingrown nails and decided she would not finish mid service and walked off. The fact that the owner allowed this behavior is baffling. So, for the person that is writing this response, let me be clear that when I called to make the appointment, the person I talked to explained that Kim was available. Yes, I’ve been coming here for three years; however, I’ve been seeing one person (Katie), so me not knowing who Kim is by name isn’t farfetched. You saying you have a right not to service me is valid, BUT irrelevant as I made the decision to take my business elsewhere.
Katie, I wish you well, but I will suggest that you have a staff meeting and let your employees know what their place and role is. Additionally, stay humble knowing that your business won’t exist...
Read moreUnpleasant experience. As someone who owned a nail salon & was a nail tech, I understated customer service and experise. I also worked in a medspa and a few nail salons back in the day and been in Sales for awhile now. To start, they weren't very friendly & barely spoke to me during the services. Even after I mentioned I only treat myself to a pedicure a few times a year, and this was for my birthday. I also mentioned I used to own a salon, but still no dialogue. They carried on conversations laughing in Vietnamese. Even if the older lady doing my nails wasn't as fluent in English, the young lady near us, glancing over and talking with everyone else was. Keep in mind that I used to own a salon with my Vietnamese in laws, but we/they understood talking with clients and making it a great experience. As for the service's- the natural nail buffing was too harsh, leg scrub was very long & rough, and was tearing up my legs, so I had to tell her. After your feet are soft and moisturized from the lotion massage, they shouldn't stick your feet back in the dirty water. Also, I asked at the beginning about the steam towel wrap (as that's my fave) and she said yes, its included. But, it was a quick throw on one towel over both legs kind of thing, and didn't even wrap them up. Also, afterwards, she removed the towel, and pulled my leggings over my damp legs and didn't dry them first. She did, however, do a great job on polishing my nails! Also, they offered water to others but not me. If it was a few minor things, I probably wouldn't even post a review, but this was overall a bad experience. For a better experience, they should communicate better with the client who is paying for services and improve on etiquette. If it's a first visit, they really should hope to retain your business... I hope they will improve on these things, and...
