I’m not one for public complaining, but I felt like this needed to be shared. My family and I (8 people total), had dinner at Mayflower tonight and it was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve ever had. We fully expected it to be busy because it’s half off Wednesday, but what we didn’t expect was to wait an hour and a half before we got our food. Normally that wouldn’t upset me, but there were table that came in after us and received their food WAY before we did, some of which had more people than we did. The waitress apologized a million times and kept saying she didn’t know what the problem was. I can understand a delay in cooking, but not when bigger parties are done eating before we even get our food. When the food finally got there, we didn’t even have silverware to eat it with, and two of the people in our party were missing their food so they had to wait even longer. And to top it all of, all of our food was absolutely disgusting. Most of us didn’t even eat it.
As we were getting ready to leave the waitress got in a very loud verbal argument with another table over the same issues. We mentioned to the lady at the front that our service was awful and the food was gross and she didn’t even bat an eye. We asked to speak to the manager and they had a million one excuses, and ended it with “I’m sorry, that’s just how it is on Wednesdays.” While out in the lobby we talked to several other parties that still hadn’t received their food after over an hour and we’re getting ready to just leave. Again, complaining on social media is usually not my thing but I refuse to give my money to a company that could care less about me being in the building or whether or not I was satisfied with their service. It might not mean much to them, but my rather large family will not be making their weekly visits to this restaurant anymore. Just wanted...
Read moreMy wife and I have gone to the Concord location for years but the quality of food seems to have dropped off drastically! Over the past three visits, I have been very dissatisfied! Our visit about 3 months ago was bad. I always order the salt and pepper flounder skinless and devil crab. Well, my meal came and the devil crab was terrible! It appeared to have been frozen for a long period of time before being deep fried and was not edible! The next time we went to eteat, I ordered the same meal and the fish came without the salt and pepper seasoning, which was okay but not great! Last night, August 6th, we again went to have a meal there. This time, the Wednesday night specials included skip filet of flounder so I ordered that with fries. Our meal arrived pretty fast. I had what appeared to be two nice pieces of flounder and a mound of french fries. When I started eating the flounder, it was very thin and each bite I took was full of bones! I really don't believe thr fish I wad served was flounder! It appeared to be a white fish, but the appearance didn't look like flounder to me, and I have ate a lot of flounder in my life! On top of that, the french fries appeared to be cooked in old oil and were not crispy at all! This is by far the worst meal I've ever gotten at the Mayflower and I am not sure I will be going back! The last three visits and not one decent meal, that is ridiculous! I complained about my meal last night and they took it off my bill, but that didn't fill my...
Read morePLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE...After years of frequenting this restaurant on 10/24/24/2018 my girlfriend a loyal customer ordered a to go order for our family totaling to about $40. After being told by the representative that answered the phone 20-25 mins for pick up she ultimately got there and had to wait until after the establishment was closed for her CALL in order. After patiently waiting for others to be served. She only received 1 meal out of the 3 correct. The other's were not even in the bag. Because the restaurant was already closed nothing could be done and our 3 year old had to deal. My girlfriend then politely reached out to the restaurant the next day in a last ditch effort to correct the error and was talked down to by Katie the cashier about how this is her fault that she did not check her order before leaving the premises. This is absurd after a 20-25 min wait time jumped to an hour without notice why should it be the customer's responsibility to check the order. Katie also mentioned that because a portion of her meal was made they could only replace what wasn't there. Assuming that my girlfriend was trying to get a free meal. She spoke with the manager Sara 11/07/2018 who said that "She's sorry for the error, but it's crazy in there on Wednesdays" Even after my girlfriend said it's okay I just won't come back the manager had no will to resolve the issue. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE...if you want the correct order and responsible...
