I do not think this restaurant is terribly bad, but I do have a complaint about one particular waitress. Not only was she extremely rude, she also failed to communicate what she wanted to say, and, as a result, unnecessarily overreacted.
What happened was rather complicated, but I will try to explain.
The waitress told my friend and me to pick anywhere to sit that was behind a particular line of seats. However, she was not clear in saying that we could only sit in a small section behind that line of seats. So, we found a seat that was near the edge of the whole section behind the line.
The waitress came over to us, and immediately began yelling at us to sit only in the small section near the corner. She was creating a ruckus, and people were starting to stare at us. The waitress then stormed off, and we were left to find a seat. The problem was that there were no more seats in that small section anymore.
I said to my friend, "There aren't any more seats left here!" I was annoyed that the waitress was being so picky and unhelpful, and was a little loud. The waitress heard me, since she was nearby, and came over to us angrily. She said she had extended the line farther up front, so there were more seats for us to choose from, even though there were "plenty of seats left" in the small section. I muttered to my friend, "No, there AREN'T anymore seats left here."
She heard me, and got even angrier. She started screaming at me about how rude I was, and how I needed to show her some respect. Clearly, she didn't realize that she wasn't exactly being respectful either. Then, she stormed off yet again.
Later on, as I was walking by her to get food, I heard her talking to another waitress. She was saying how my friend and I were "b*tching around," and how "idiotic" we were. She glanced at me, and then she glared, as I walked pass her. So, I knew that she had seen me, and didn't care that I had heard her words.
I do not think the restaurant should be hiring waitresses who are so rude and disrespectful, and who curse at clients/customers.

Read moreI placed an online delivery order at this Golden Corral a couple of weeks ago, and Door Dash was supposed to manage the delivery process. However, my “dasher” delivered the order to the wrong address. We had ordered food for ourselves and our kids, and we were all famished. When we contacted Door Dash for support, the agent said that because the restaurant was closing, it was too late for our order to be remade. Therefore, Door Dash would issue a refund to the restaurant and then arrange for the restaurant to issue a refund to us within a few business days. Two weeks later, I checked my account, and I still had not received a refund. At my spouse’s urging, I called Door Dash again to see what had occurred. After being transferred to three different representatives and departments, I spoke with an agent that told me she would attempt to call the restaurant to straighten things out. She put me on hold, so I waited, expecting her to return with a report. Strangely (but fortunately), she connected me directly with the general manager on duty, Justin A, instead. I expressed my surprise to Justin at being directly transferred to him by Door Dash but told him the trouble I was having. I told him how much my family loved Golden Corral and that we just hoped that, wherever our order went that night, the family that received it needed the meal more than we did. Justin not only patiently listened to my concerns, he offered to remake our entire order and deliver it to us himself! Forty-five minutes later (in the middle of a power outage at that) Justin arrived. He came with bags of food and a warm smile, and his arrival was like a visit from an old friend! We truly appreciate Justin’s commitment to going above and beyond to take care of our family’s concern, and we honestly believe he is a shining example of why people love the Golden Corral brand so much! Read moreGolden coral is my very favorite place to eat, my work takes me to different states, and I look for a Golden coral to have dinner or weekend breakfast....I have eaten at this place 3 times, Monday, Tues, and weds, all 3 days eaten here has been a nightmare,..I'm going to explain, in detail. 1st. The cook : Latino male was less than helpful, I stood in front of his window 4 or 5 minutes waiting to get his attention , and not just 1 day, (everytime I went up to ask him for a steak ) he pretty much ignores you, until I said excuse me, excuse me , can I get a well done steak, at first I'm thinking , I'm at the wrong side of the grill , because someone else came and he served them , so I waited the other side and had to say helloooo, I need a steak, well done please, that was Monday, it happened everytime, on Wednesday a manager of sort was there too, the cook was ignoring me as usual, so I asked his manager for a well done steak, the cook noticed me then, and I said I'll take a well done steak, he didn't say anything, and turned to the grill turning over steaks , I waited 3 or 4 minutes , then I left, ( given up on a steak ) the manager didn't say anything to him or me. I went back to the table and my drink hadn't been refilled. My glass had been empty for 15 minutes, so I went to find it myself but someone told me the waitress was coming, by the time she arrived I was thru eating and thru with this restaurant.
