I came here to celebrate my best friends 22nd birthday because i heard the drinks and food here was good. When we arrived we were seated in about 5 minutes which was great considering we were a party of 10! They shortly brought chips and salsa. They only brought 1 thing of chips for a party of 10. I dont know if this restaurant is cheap but I felt like they should’ve atleast given us 2 since there was 10 people.. I had to grab drink menues because after the chips and salsa nobody checked in on us I also had to request a waiter multiple times. I didn’t mind it considering I wanted my bestie to have a great time but by the end of the night I felt like I should’ve been the one to receive the tips considering we didn’t receive and service unless I requested it. Isn’t this why waiters are hired? Please do correct me if I am wrong. Maybe they’re just there for decoration and i just wasn’t aware of that🤔 Nobody ever checked on us and when they took our orders they would skip people. Why not try asking if they wanted something before assuming they just came to watch us drink and eat? Once our food arrived they unfortunately couldn’t even get that right. 3 people we’re missing items that I also had to get up and notify them about. As soon as we started digging in we were given our receipts, the douche waiter dropped two of our friends receipts and did NOT apologize for dropping it and didn’t even bother to pick it up! He didn’t try to redeem himself at all we had hoped that eventually he would notice that he was going to miss out on a good tipping table but I have a feeling he judged us and decided we didn’t deserve good customer service because we probably weren’t going to tip. Id say Mario needs to get re trained but he wasn’t the only person who “helped”us out it took about 6 other people not including me. No I will not be back unless I get paid to eat here and also get my hospital bill covered because today I woke up throwing up and with bad diarrhea! Hopefully covid does its thing and gets this business...

We ordered the white queso as a starter to have with our chips and salsa. My wife ordered the mahi mahi plate and i ordered the taco tradicionale. Food: From the white cheese sauce and everything that followed, everything was super fresh. All of the ingredients seemed to be high quality and the presentation was fantastic. well above average in my opinion. I especially liked their refried beans. That is something that i enjoy that seems often overlooked but they didn't. My wife's mahi was cooked perfectly and came with a tasty sauce with shrimp on top. Again, all veggies and everything else was extra fresh. Her meal came with avocado slices and there wasn't a spot to be found on them. My only knock was that everything seemed undersalted and less pow than expected but i understand. You cant please everyone with that one and there is salt on the table.
Atmosphere: Excellent again. The music was very low but pleasant. Although the place is big with plenty of seating, it is set up with little niches and sections that give it a cozy feel while leaving room for larger parties elsewhere in the restaurant. Great place for a date. Service: What can I say, another win. Although we had a main server, others filled in when needed to make sure all of our needs were met and they did it without hovering or constant approval seeking. Great team effort.
I enjoyed it enough to add it to our short-list of go-to mexican places and places in general. If i could pick my exact rating, it would be 4.7, just because i like a bit more flavor but they are really good and i couldn't justify just a 4, so 5 it is!
Next time,.I'll add pics. I wasn't thinking about a review while...
Read moreWorst food I've had in a long time. Room full of empty tables & hostess tried to sit us by the one noisy table in the room. Asked to be moved & she moved us to the other end but then sat the next group right beside us instead of spreading people out. I'd understand if they were busy but they weren't. My husband is hard of hearing so loud tables & echoey rooms make it hard to have a conversation. Waiter was hard to understand due to thick dialect & had a hard time comprehending our order but service was ok & food didn't take too long. I had fried avocado - just don't make this because you're not good at it - thick gooey batter with some white cheese that got firm quickly, some bland chicken & avocado & then the taco al carbon was dry & it was all bland & tasteless. The refried beans were meh - Taco Bell would've been tastier. My hubs had a combo dinner with a chili relleno, enchilada & beef mystery meat taco al carbon. The meat is chewy & tastes weird. Neither of us finished the meal & choked to pay $52. Live & learn sometimes when you try a new place. I appreciate people trying to make a living & try to support all small businesses but I don't know how these guys are in business. Hope this review helps someone else save their $$ or give them a try & see what you think. We...
