Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Conroe

The delivery was fast but I am only 3 miles from them. The pizza was awful. Hardly any cheese or sauce. The BBQ chicken was so bad that my husband said he was going to use it for fish bait. I normally eat a few pieces of his along with my friend who lives with me and he will devour the rest. I took 1 bite and handed it to him then apologized for it tasting so bad as if I made it. Lol

We have over half of the 3 pizzas left over. The cheese was so thin that I could see each little 2 inch line with spaces in between. 1/4 seemed like it was mostly crust. We always order 3 pizzas and cheesy bread. The cheesy bread had tons of cheese so it was good. It did cost a few bucks less then normal with the specials but Little Ceasars or grocery store bought would have been better!!

Called and management acted like I was lying about it? He said that the cheesy bread is made with the same dough. I asked if the cheese and pepperoni pizza had sat around in a warmer for awhile and he said no. I then told him it tasted microwaved and I will never order from them again. His response was certainly not what I expected. I have never wrote a bad review and I am 51 years old. So this is not a normal thing for me. Yet the supervisor or management did nothing amd in my opinion he was rude! We threw the 2 full boxes that had not been touched away. Disgusting. 3 adults all agree that they sent us some nasty rubbery pizza. Could not have been fresh!!

Linda said it was rubbery and the cheese pizza did not taste like cheese pizza. They just did not have flavor. The cheesy bread was descent bit it needed more cheese.

Richie said it tasted bland amd chewy. He did not taste the BBQ or chicken at all.

My 9 year old said mommy my pizza taste weird.

Ok, so I love north of Victoria. We don’t have Marco’s out our way, but we get the commercials all the time, and I’ve been curious. Currently working out of town and staying here in Conroe. Was in the mood for some pizza. Was going to go with my usual chain pizza joint when I’m in a place where I can actually get a pizza delivered, but decided to try something new tonight.

Goodness gracious. Am I glad I ordered some Marco’s. That Old World Pepperoni is outstanding. If you’re a pepperoni person, go with the old, don’t go with the regular, you won’t regret it.

Pizza was definitely more greasy than most, but if you ask me, that’s just extra flavor. I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.

On another note, their delivery service is on point. I ordered this on a Friday evening, at 9pm. Their expected delivery was 30-40 minutes. I was hungry, but I wasn’t ready to stop drinking that quick. Once I eat a full meal, I get too bloated and can’t drink anymore. And I wasn’t ready for that so quickly. So I placed an order with a “future delivery” of 10:30pm. Got an email shortly after placing the order and it said the delivery would be made between 10:30-10:40pm. Well all be damned, the delivery driver knocked on my door, I looked down at my phone, it was 10:30pm on the dot. And yes, it was fresh and hot, burned the roof of my dadgum mouth on the first bite.

AMAZING FOOD but terrible service!!!!! Food was almost an hour late. Then when delivered it was the WRONG order. The delivery driver mixed my order up with the delivery before mine. So after finally getting dinner, it was not ours. Called the store and the manager was super nice. Told me she was going to refund my order in full, and credit my account for two pizzas. Because, again, food was almost an hour late AND it was THE WRONG ORDER! BUT, that notation did not happen according to the guy I spoke with tonight. When I called today to place ANOTHER order and add the 2 CREDITED pizzas to my order... the guy was rude and acted as if I was lying. After being left on hold forever, he finally returned and was extremely rude and unprofessional. I asked him to just refund my previous order that I did NOT get, BECAUSE IT STILL WAS NOT CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT and to keep the two pizzas. He finally said that he was crediting my account for the order, because it had not been refunded. Terrible service. No one should have to go through this for an order.
