Flanigan's Boathouse — Restaurant in Conshohocken

As a loyal customer to boathouse I am appalled at what happened tonight. We ordered here almost weekly during Covid to support one of our favorite spots. Tonight, we tried to sit as a group of three plus a dog outdoors. Mind you, I’m pregnant. There was one outdoor booth left and we were told we could take it. A very rude female waitress came outdoors and told us we could not sit in the booth as we did not have four people. I did accidentally let the hostess who seated us know we had four people but I was not doing anything on purpose-I was a hungry, pregnant woman who’s used to having both her parents and husband at dinner. I don’t understand why we had to leave as there was no one else waiting for an outdoor booth AND we were informed we couldn’t sit anywhere outside which is insane because we didn’t have four people or two. This woman then said she would “go look for us” and then came back to near where we were and bluntly ignored us and started helping other customers. We left and I will not be supporting this establishment again until you guys fix your attitude towards guests. I went here last night with a group of 5. We went to have drinks for an hour before going to dinner at a different Conshy restaurant. We arrived at 5:50 and asked for a table for 5. We were told to wait for the rest of our party so we went to the bar to grab a drink, which was packed for college football, which is why we wanted a table. Out party arrived, we were sat at a table outside, we ordered our first round of drinks, and then we got kicked out because we weren’t ordering food? The waitress told us it was dinner hour and she had to close us out. We were paying customers that were planning on drinking for an hour. But she literally brought us the check and told us to get up. No option, no manager. Hostess didn’t ask us if we’d be eating. They also made us wait 15 minutes while the table sat empty. They could have sat us down right away and more drinks would have been on the tab. I mean we were drinking $12 cocktails. Probably would have purchased a total of 10-15 of them which costs way more than 5 entrees. Awful experience, we won’t go back. Kicked out for being a paying...

Bartender was rude and condescending. Ordered pick up through door dash, not delivery with door dash. My parents went to pick the food up and it sat on the bar for a while. When my parents inquired they said it’s not ready. Food continues to sit on bar, bartender finally goes back to look and says there’s no order with that name. My parents take a look and lo and behold it’s our order. The bartender proceeds to argue with my parents in a rude way, as if they are wrong. I finally get on the phone with the bartender and explain to her and now she’s arguing with me. My parents have thick accents and I think that’s part of the reason she wasn’t taking them seriously. She went back to check after I spoke with her and someone realized door dash isn’t actually picking up they finally released the food to my parents. By the time it arrived back to eat it wasn’t warm because it sat on the bar for 20 minutes before anything was even investigated.
