Summary: I loved Nudy’s but their styrofoam packaging melted around my take out ruining it and their quality has severely deteriorated since the beginning of the pandemic. See bottom for suggested alternatives!
So I loved Nudy’s in West Chester and in Conshy before the pandemic for their amazing cinnamon bun pancakes! However This morning I got them for take out because if the pandemic and was extremely disappointed in their food quality and packaging. As per my norm for there I got the cinnamon bun pancakes which came in a styrofoam container (I could complain about how that’s more environmentally friendly but thats bit my real issue) which by the time I got home had almost entirely melted through from the pancakes. I had to throw away the bottom pancake due to it melting the styrofoam (see pictures). I got a side of eggs which looked sad in the box, but to be honest can’t expect much from scramble eggs to go. The real let down was on top of loosing a pancake to the pancaking that they didn’t add much cream cheese icing to the pancakes and they had no cinnamon filling between the pancakes as they traditionally had. If you’ve read this far props to you for your dedication and I would suggest going to izenburgs instead for the same quality for much cheaper! Or if you want better quality go to brunch everyday. Both suggestions are only a couple blocks from...

On my recent visit to Philly for an investment conference, I stopped here twice for breakfast. It was walking distance from our hotel and has a terrific menu. First, the place is large, plenty of room if you need extra accessibility, and it’s clean.
The menu had marked gluten free options and seasonal specials. We (my hubby and I) found the food fresh and served hot. What we ate was light on the salt. I imagine this is in part for those with dietary restrictions. Easy to remedy. Happy to report nothing was greasy.
Our server, Rene (at both visits) was phenomenal. We were immediately offered a drink right after being seated and she kept out waters filled. Super friendly and attentive.
The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. Lots of natural light in the place. I’d say this place is appropriate for families, couples, seniors and it felt LGBTQ friendly, though I can’t confirm.
We found this place to be less expensive than I would have imagined. In the end, great food, nice people, comfortable atmosphere. Stop in. You’ll likely...
Read moreThe manager at this establishment deserves to be fired. I Ordered a plain waffle and syrup off of DoorDash and my order did not provide syrup, butter or anything to go with it. When I called the store to let them know and ask for a refund (because I wouldn’t be able to eat my food) the manager very arrogantly told me "to look in the bag harder because he packs all orders and does not forget anything ever” he also said the syrup is free and they can't provide refunds on that. I was asking for a refund for my food since I can't enjoy it now. They then proceeded to tell me I could come and pick up the syrup. Once again missing the point. Why would i pay for a service to drop my food off (and all the fees that come with it) just to have to turn around and come pick something up that they forgot. The manager never apologized or offered any type of explanation nor was he pleasant. He was incredibly disrespectful and condescending. Instead he told me to call DoorDash and take it up with them for a refund because they can’t do it in store. (This is also a lie, as I work at a restaurant and know for a fact a refund can be provided) overall I am disgusted with the way i was spoken to and treated as a customer who orders from this establishment often. This was an easily...
