Horrible experience a long time a go ,my food was wrong no fresh, they are soo cheap with their rules no refunds or exchanges or concerns been fix in this place and not respect with the customers, so I did not came back for 6 years.So last year, on October I decided to came back with a friend I was the person paying 2 sadwiches, coffee plus I asked for a papaya smoothie, we had to leave for the time of services but I asked the server a cup to take it for to go.They do not ofter to help you out; the paper cup is not stable so the discharged cup has not weight so serving my smoothie it felt on table unfortunately because I even did not drink in all anything ! I told them if they can please replaced immediately answer" not like other american bussinness will do it", but they were not nice telling me that is the rules"so I ask to talk to the owner the same older guy nothing polite or care to keep customers told me to pay it by the way & he won't do any new one So they make me pay for something I even did not drink...!!??IS FEAR..? If a person wants to know as a 1st time how taste that smoothie? That owner prefer in his pumpkin brain to loose clients! So I told him: We are in America! not to keep his close mind like a self fish , hungry money bussimess man & very unprofessional. I told him why I did not came back to his bussinness from that day NEVER AGAIN..!! He should came back to college to learn manors specially to treat a lady like me like that.I never recommended this bad owners place! I told him that's why his place is empty...I know them for many years leaving close to them bringing my family 12 years a go but they do not deserved any start. So very becareful & recently I hearded his bussiness closed for having bugs & roaches. And they can still been rude & cheap with bad excuses? no refunds or exchanges or replaced from accidents? Please make your bussinness in your own home with out...

Me and my daughter went there for the first time around 5/6 pm Saturday evening after a long day downtown.... We ordered from the buffet side where the rice and meat were pre-cooked and assumed to be hot ...we received our plates and the food was cold and had no flavor 🙁 no one even offered to warm it up ... The ladies were very nice but we were clearly overcharged for two plates I paid $20+ and the rice on the plate consumed all the space with a very little bit of meat ..... Definitely did not have a good experience - for less money I can go home and cook for the whole family and next time I will....at least I know it would be free of harmful bacterias and have a FLAVOR I have to say this because it's so important The day after our visit on Sunday and today (Monday) my daughter has not been feeling good and I have no doubt in my mind that it is from the cold food . ... Because bacteria can quickly grow when food is not kept at certain temp and I do blame myself as well because I should have LEFT and not let her eat it ..... It's sad that I had to rate a Latino restaurant like this honestly ....but my public has to know the truth of our experience and please BE CAREFUL!!!! She has a doctor's appointment this evening for that cold pulled pork that has her sick ... I don't know if the place is better at lunch hour when maybe the food is hot but if you come after lunch hour be warned that that food will be cold and bacteria just sits there and grows I don't want your kid to end up with a sour stomach like mine has (nausea...

Great authentic food! Came down from North Carolina really wanting some cuban food because we don't have a lot of it in our area. Well, this place didn't disappoint. Great selection of food. I got tons of stuff and only spent $80, and I mean a lot. I like the places where it's cafeteria style and you can choose your food. I lived in Florida for 26 years and have eaten at high end to a local place like this, and I'll take a place like this all day! Got a cuban and haven't tried it yet, so I will update when I do as that's obviously a staple. I've had better potato salad and tres Leche (too much cinnamon, and some salt goes a long way. Tasted more like riced pudding), but both were still good. Son said it was his top 2 of the meals on our trip, and we in no way were slumming it, so they had good competition. This will be my new go-to when I come to town. Used to go to Havana not far from here. They didn't have much selection, and the only option was to order on the restaurant side, which would have been $80 for 4 basic meals.
