Awful service, food to match. I utilized their online ordering service to order myself some lunch to go, as I work near by. I ordered a chicken taco salad, add beans, and add avocado, both options offered when selecting the item. The beans do not add a charge, the avocado was 1.00$ to add, which I was happy to pay. When I arrived, my order was ready, and I asked for togo silverware and napkins. The cashier, Brittany, pointed to the back wall and said "you can grab them for yourself back there." I would have been a little warmer or friendlier in this instruction, but whatever. Then, she proceeds to hold my order ticket up and say "I am supposed to tell you that beans and avocado are an extra charge." I let her know that I was charged for the avocado on the site, but that beans are added with no charge. She says "well, I added them anyway, but I am supposed to charge you for a side. I won't this time, but just so you know." I reiterate that since I ordered and paid online, I literally have zero control over the charges, and ask what she would like me to do if the website doesn't charge accurately. She rudely says something to the effect "I was just told to let you know, so now you know." I get that sometimes there are changes that have to be made to prices in order to run a business that is profitable, but issues with charges on an online ordering service are NOT the customers' problems. After grabbing my utensils, I asked for her name. She told me and then pointed to the owner, who was sitting on his laptop behind me. The interaction with him was equally ridiculous, talking down to me and treating me as if I had done something wrong by ordering my food the way the website allows. Seriously bro, if you need to charge for things, charge for them, but updating things on the back end of your operating system is on you, not me. I assured them I wouldn't be back, based on interactions alone. When I open my container, I find the LEAST impressive taco salad I have ever seen. Brown, slimy lettuce throughout, one massive chunk of an underripe tomato, one largish slice of avocado, some underwhelming rubbery chicken, and a sprinkle of cheese. No dressing. Two side of salsa (one included, one that I paid for). It was disgusting. Now I am out 10$ for an absolutely inedible excuse for a taco salad and a horrible customer service experience that makes in not even worth walking back over to get my money back. If you want great food with ACTUAL friendly service, try Tamale Co. just around the corner. They won't treat you like garbage for using the online ordering service that they provide, and the food is much better.

We've ordered from here probably 4 or 5 times in the past two years. I've typically had decent to good food, however I ordered some fajitas tacos and this is what I got... Literally just a handful of meat with one sliver of bell pepper and 1-2 onions (I got lucky with one of them, it had 2!). This was disrespectful to the idea of fajitas. Honestly I don't even know what to make of this, I would be so ashamed/embarrassed to serve this. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is that it hasn't been *this* bad in the past, however most times I've told myself "we should have just gotten Black Rooster". With so many Mexican/taco spots around, I'd go elsewhere. EDIT: I changed this review to 1 star as they responded to me, but in no way attempted to resolve the matter. The response they wrote to this review is extremely unprofessional, all the weird capitalizations, punctuation, unnecessary spaces, broken sentences... I get that the manager (or whomever, though ultimately it falls on the manager to represent the business) may have done this via their phone, but this is pretty awful to put out there for people to read. Unfortunately, this response is a very accurate portrayal of the attention to detail and/or quality control they have when making their food, not to mention the phenomenal customer service... I'm embarrassed for them that this is how they publicly present themselves. I've also seen the responses on other reviews, and it more of the same... they're very degrading to reviewers in a lot of the negative ones. If you want to bring new people to the restaurant, try making things right rather skipping past the issues and blaming the customer. Well done in soiling your own reputation.

Parking is labeled for the small plaza when you arrive. The customer service is good. I was expecting the food to taste like authentic Mexican food, but I felt it was just lacking in salt. The guac needed salt and the ground beef in my taco needed salt. I was just surprised with such a good flavor they would forget the most important ingredient. The tacos were smaller than those you buy in the grocery store. I'm glad I ordered a side of chips because the meals came with about 5 chips. My son enjoyed his burrito, but mentioned he likes Tijuana flats more. I dont think I will return. If you are gonna charge $11.50 for chips, guac, and salsa then it needs to taste like it is worth it. The crowd didnt seem to mind the lack of salt as I dont think they typically put salt on their food anyways.

I went in to order a taco salad for take out and asked what was in the salad. I was told spring mix, cucumber, tomato, and your choice of meat. Next, I asked, so no cheese, no guac, no salsa, no sour cream? I was told, yes there is cheese on it and it comes with a side of salsa. Honestly, I wish I had walked out right there. Instead, I ordered a side of guac. As the small portion of Guac cost $4.00, my bill was $13 to $14 dollars. As he was packaging it up, I went over to look at it. He opened the container and all that was visible was the meat. There was plenty of meat alright, however no cheese was visible and the salsa container fit maybe 1/2 oz. When I inquired, he offered me another 1/2 oz of salsa and a 1/2 oz container of cheese. Upon eating the salad, I found one tomato slice and one of cucumber. Never did see cheese and the abundance of pork was tasteless. It was the worse taco salad that I haver had and costed more than I have ever paid for one. Taco salad traditionally comes with sour cream, guac, and salsa among other veg ingredients. People that order taco salad aren’t ordering it for the meat. Rethink it Cilantro whatever...
