Havana Kiss Cuban Cafe — Restaurant in Kissimmee

STAY AWAY!!!! This is the worst place I have ever been to!! No wonder it was empty!! First sign!!! The service was horrible the own/waiter didn’t greet us! Told us to sit where ever, the other server(a male shouvanist walked around and beside us and never once greeted us and we waited over half an hour for two steak sandwiches what were the absolute worst! The steak was tough and no flavor! Very little at that in the sandwich. I had almost half a sandwich with no steak! The bread is not the typical one used for the steak sandwich or Cuban at that! The bread wasn’t even toasted! When the owner/waiter came by to ask how it was I said it was ok and he said “just okay “? And i said yes just ok.he had the nerve to ask me if we wanted desert! I was like NO! If I just told him in other words that I didn’t like the sandwich how the hell do you think I’m gonna want desert!!! Then the wanna be pretty boy server came ove only to take the plates and to bring the check after not even acknowledging us the entire time! It was $17 and change AND they calculated the tip for us!! Who the hell does that!! I was a server and you only do that for large groups! We give pretty boy the check in the black booklet and he walks away and immediately opens it to see how much we left him! He didn’t even serve us!

Don’t believe any of the positive reviews on here or anywhere else! They must be friends or relatives. Read the negative ones because they all, mine included say about the same thing. I just wish I had read them before ordering! Have a huge stomach ache!

Do not and I repeat DO NOT go! Our group definitely regrets trying this place. We went the other night... heres a list of things that went wrong and they may not be in order but I'll try.

1. took forever to get food.
2. was never offered any refills. If you order a soda It's in a can. But multiple ordered water and we all left dying of thirst.
3. when we did get good, two plates of the same thing came out. I told them I did not order two plates, just one.
4. cuban sandwich that I ordered, the bread of the sandwich was too hard to eat. I ended up removing all the meat and not eating the bread. It was THAT hard.
5. we rarely saw our waitress.
6. it took forever to pay. We gave them the payments and part of the party waited outside the doors.
7. the bill, we were charged for the second plate of food. Even tho I told them I didnt order it. What had happened, a friend at the table said she would take it and put it on her bill. Not only did they put it on her bill but tried charging me for it as well. The waitress and i got into a little disagreement as she was claiming I ate the plate. I couldnt even eat the bread on the sandwich, with no drink and that plate was still on the table! I pointed to it and said I not only did not order it, i did not eat it. As we left, we realized not only was i charged for that plate, the friend that claimed it was charged for it as well.

The place wasnt even busy! We should have taken that as a sign.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. Go elsewhere as there are many other options. Highly disappointed, our group didnt finish their food because it wasnt good. The only good thing was the kids chicken and fries but that isnt Cuban food and you can get that anywhere. Again, avoid...

To start, for them to be located in a tourist area you’d think they would have someone who speaks different languages especially English.

Nobody that works there speaks English so good luck ordering

I called for the black rice and chicken chunks (which is what I saw they had on the google menu and pictures) due to the language barrier they didn’t understand me . He asked me if I spoke Spanish I told him no and asked does anyone there speak English? the guy passed the phone to someone who supposedly spoke more English but we still could not understand each other. When I got there they had my order wrong.

First impression the place smelled bad and was pretty empty to be a Saturday during the summer.

They put white rice and the bean sauce with the black rice as a side order . I tried explaining that I did not want nor did I order white rice. They got frustrated but still tried to make me pay for the extra rice instead of correcting my order.

I had to pull up one of the photos from their google to show them what I wanted. The guy was rude he didn’t provide eating utensils and got mad when I asked for it . Also he caught a attitude because I asked for sauce for the chicken which looked completely unappetizing

$18 for mid food and no drink . rice was cold plantain tasted expired. Food was not fresh as all .

First and last time going there due to the service. You’d think they would be appreciative and welcoming to people supporting their very slow business but I see why it’s slow . I regret not reading the reviews prior to ordering but I was very hungry so I took a chance.
