Outstanding! I had dinner at this most awesome venue this evening. Where should I start... Imagine you were somehow transported to Morocco and into a restaurant in Marrakech...this would be your first extraordinary experience as you walk in. Then the exotic smells of incense and food and aromatic woods...and you have an authentic moroccan restaurant ambience. We were greeted with a wonderful smile and a pleasant disposition that was the hostess. The next thing that is/was impressive was that I discovered that the person who welcomed us in was the actual owner of the restaurant. After being seated was when the auspicious adventure began when we were greeted by this wonderful, smiling (that never stopped), enthusiastic, energetic, warm, friendly, and very polite and knowledgeable woman name Joann. She was to our fortune our server. She knew the menu, she explained the menu, she accommodated any and all variations to meet and enhance our Marrakech experience. Then I noticed that all the staff were pleasant and accommodating to their customers. This to me is the exemplary way the management leads. The food was superb. Six courses...all beautifully done. Well balanced spices continued the exotic experience that is Marrakech. Every course stood on its own merits and bursting with flavor. Portions were remarkable and plenty. This is an outstanding restaurant that welcomes all ages. Then there was the dancer. She was excellent and excited and topped off the overall experience perfectly. Marrakech is authentic, beautiful, warm, with outstanding service from the entrance to the exit. And did I say that the food was not only delicious but fun to eat. Did I say six courses with copious servings. That beef kabobs was simply delicious. Chicken with kooskoos and vegetables were delightful. Thoroughly enjoyed Marrakech...you did not miss anything...thank you.

Went to dinner at Marrakech on a weeknight, and wow, it was an outstanding experience. The Moroccan-inspired decor captivated me with its rich, luxurious fabrics, vibrant colors, and gold accents that adorned the space. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Our waitstaff, especially our main waitress, was a true delight. Her spirited personality and enthusiastic demeanor added a unique touch to our evening. I would gladly return just for the opportunity to interact with her again; her energy and friendliness were absolutely contagious. The atmosphere was electric, enhanced by great music and captivating belly dancers performing at various intervals throughout our meal. It was a feast for the senses! The cocktails were exceptional, particularly the $45 Magic Carpet Ride. It was worth every penny, showcasing an impressive presentation and high-quality spirits. As for the food, it was nothing short of fantastic. They offer a six-course Moroccan feast that includes Shrimp Scampi, traditional Moroccan Harira soup, and the Marrakech Sampler featuring hummus, tahini dip, Baba Ghannouj, Moroccan-style olives, and assorted marinated vegetables. This is followed by delicious beef kabobs and couscous. The meal concludes with a traditional Moroccan mint tea service and B'stilla, a classic pastry filled with bananas, nuts, and chocolate. They also have a vegan option. I absolutely loved every aspect of this place and highly recommend visiting—multiple times, if possible! I will certainly be returning.

Very different experience, for sure... the inside of the restaurant is set up to look like a Bedouin tent, complete with fabric over the entire ceiling, wall decoration, and traditional furniture. The service was attentive and outstanding. I took my wife here for a birthday date and couldn't have been more pleased with the service. We started with a rosewater hand rinse, and that alone separated the experience from the outside... Scampi and Moroccan bread, salads with babaganoush and hummus, beef skewers, chicken djaj over cous cous, and a beautiful and tasty B'stilla completed a roll-out-the-door and thoroughly satisfying meal and experience... I know that I haven't mentioned the belly dancers, and that is not to say they weren't excellent because they were, for sure. The core strength, grace, and beauty and talent of the two dancers that made their way around the room added to an already wonderful experience. The restaurant space is designed for their access, which only made it feel more homey and more like we were at an event rather than just dinner. Overall, it is excellent all around and definitely worth the price of admission (it is a fixed price menu, after all). Thank you for a wonderful and memorable experience.

Update on April 5th, 2024 My wife and I chose to go back because we had such a good experience the first time. Everything from the service, portion sizes, and atmosphere were all above what we expected. This time could not have been more different. The refresh they did inside is updated, but it also has much less character. The server was nice enough, but he did not refill drinks and really did not have any motivation to do well in what he was doing. The portion sizes were probably 2/3 less than they were at the previous visit. $170, not including tip, is obscene for 2 very small beef skewers, 3 chips of onion, two chicken leg quarters, probably a 1/2 cup of couscous, probably 1/3 cup.each of baba ganoush and hummus (which were fresh, but pretty flavorless) about half a somehow crisp but stale pita and a few pieces or lightly pickled vegetables, but again, were fresh, but bland. The dessert was quite good, so that is something... I do the shopping for my house and estimate that I paid almost $200 for about $12-16 in food. I do not believe there would be a reason we would go back , since the quality and service have greatly diminished. This hurts to post since this is a family owned business. As a former independent business owner, I know there are ways to cut costs that are not readily apparent to the customer. I understand there are costs involved in running a business, but such apparent shortfalls are not at all acceptable. The dancers and the show were a highlight, but the price of admission, while a consideration, is not worth the price of admission, considering we live in an...

I was so disappointed and embarrassed to have brought my friend to this restaurant for his birthday. I had such high hopes for this unique restaurant. It’s not all the hype at all. I want them so much to improve because I believe they have so much room for improvement and lots of potential.

Observations: As soon as you walk in you have to move the oddly placed red velvet curtains out of your face, then right smack In Your face there is a room divider. Once inside it smells like dirty carpet or mildew! Also, No one to greet us for quite a while. We had reservations and even though we were just a few minutes late, they weren’t ready for us with a clean table. It’s like they lack some organization with this part. They were scrambling to broom the floor. Just not the best initial impression.

It was hot! AC not working?

Pushy, mildly manipulative servers in an effort to make things easy and convenient for the establishment push their 6 course meal. I noticed guest after guest being sorta pushed into choosing this meal option, even with some reluctance almost everyone gives in.

The food…. It’s not terrible but it’s an embarrassment overall. I gotta say that the meat skewers were very tasty and the hummus and babaganoush also but pita chips were so hard! Unfortunately overall it is not gourmet cuisine and I really wanted them to be great. You’re in Las Vegas, come on, let’s bring Marrakech to bigger heights!

The belly dancer gave her best, and you could really sense this. Her costuming was exquisite. I really suggest she uses either waist bells or ankle bells to fill in during ackward silent moments in the music and between songs. I think the restaurant could support her even more with better sound system and lighting effects.

I do think the staff’s efforts overall were sincere and hardworking. But overall, the entire experience needs refinement and the decor some updating and added luxury to take it to a much refined level. Most Americans will find it pretty good but those of us who are either Arabic, Mediterranean, foodies, world travelers are left disappointed.

Suggestions:

Remodel, re strategize, create an experience that truly transports you to Morocco and not superficially. Make your servers wear traditional Moroccan attire or more formal attire. Get male servers who are more oriented to hospitality and not so rough men, you’re in the service industry, need gentlemen. At least I can tell they really try.

I hope you realize all your potential and room for growth and organization and refinement. You have such a unique product,...

Wish there was a 3.5 stars to give. As the only Moroccan joint in town and as huge fans of Moroccan cuisine, we'd been saving this place for a special occasion.

The Good: Very attentive without being intrusive service. Every plate was whisked away and the new course brought without any delay or distraction. Omg. That Sausage appetizer. We have a shellfish allergy in the family, so we opted to substitute. So glad. I wanted to eat every morsel on that plate, but since it was first was afraid I'd run out of room if I did. I'm already researching how to make it. Hummus appetizer was good. Babaganoush was good. Lightly pickled vegetables were delicious! Kebab was a delight. I was thrown off by the presentation, as it used an entire pineapple as a skewer holder - it felt rather wasteful, and then I was stuck wondering if they reuse the pineapples and not knowing which one I wanted to be true. The bassilla was tasty. Love the textures and flavor combination.

The Medium The belly dancing was beautiful and the ladies were really good (I've friends who dance and love watching skillful dancers), but apparently you were supposed to tip them like strippers? I wasn't comfortable with that and wished I could tip on the bill as we had no cash. I know the place has been around since the 70s but felt a little uncomfortable with the texture of the booths - it felt like they would be hard to clean and it skived me out a bit as we were of course eating with our hands.

The Unfortunate Moroccan cuisine is deeply flavorful. The main course was hyped up and then we received the let down of obviously pressure cooked chicken. As new owners of our own instapot, the signs were obvious. The flavor had been leached out of the veggies and the meat was tender but lacking in depth of flavor.

All in all, we may still take folks here - it has a great atmosphere for groups and I enjoyed every course aside from the main. Definitely hope the next time we get proper tajine chicken...
