PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE! ITS A TOURIST TRAP! I was invited here for a wedding banquet and let me tell you, the food was disgusting, flavorless and found a hair in the street corn! The service was mediocre and they cheaped out on a lot, the meats, everything at the salad bar and side entrees were not flavorefull, nor enjoyable and some were plain disgusting. Per every 8 guest they put one tiny plate of boxed smash potatoes, 4 soggy "fried" plantains and 3 I'm not sure if it was fried cheese or what and their trademark cheese balls which tasted just like the ones at Sam's club. Everything at the salad bar was grocery store level if not worst, the rice was exactly as the one in pollo loco or worst, the hummus was a complete insult! Also at the beginning of the banquet we were explained that we can have any meat as many times we wanted including lamb and whatever else fancy they had, well they kept sending different ppl with the same cut of meat, it was all red meat, I saw chicken legs like twice, once they brought like medallions wrapped in bacon and only brought enough for maybe half the party and we literally have to asked them to bring lamb and every time we did, they kept sending someone like 15min later with the same cut of red meat. After asking the 4-5 time and 45 min of waiting and most of the guest had ate the same meat over and over, they finally decided to bring 2 sticks of lamb and by then everyone was too full to want any and from all the meat that was the best one and they never brought it back again. Anyway I didn't eat too much but I ate enough and you know the scene from Bridesmaids when they all get food poisoning, well it must of been inspired by this place, because we definitely got FOOD POISONING! So if you planning to shell out a good lump of money to have a wedding, business exotic Brazilian banquet or anything, PLEASE DON'T! This places needs a visit from the health department ASAP. They cheap you out, their service and food mediocre at best and the bread cubes for the salad is deadly, if you have weak teeth beware, the bread is so stale and rock hard that you have to chew like a dog with a bone and use your back molars. This place was a huge disappointment and by all means this should not and ISN'T an upscale restaurant, for the poor the quality of the food, the service, this is a joke and their prices is a straight scam. A COMPLETE DISRESPECT TO BRAZILIAN FOOD...
Read moreI normally frequent the fogo de chao in Atlanta so I figured to come to this one for Father’s Day since we were In town. I would’ve given 5 stars if it weren’t for a lack of communication. I booked this a week in advance and had a promo code request attached to it. I called before I came in for my reservation today to adjust how many guests would be in attendance and was told over the phone that they wouldn’t offer the special. I feel as though this is something that could’ve been done ahead of time. We chose to come anyway since it was too much trouble to try and book a reservation anywhere else at 3pm on the day of.
The salad bar isn’t as tasty as the fogo in Atlanta but there were plenty of options to choose from to get you started. If you’ve never been to a Brazilian steakhouse the way it works is salad bar buffet first and then they give you a card with a red and green side. Red means no meat right now and when it’s flipped green it means you’re ready for them to come table side with all their different carvings of meat.
My favorite is the lamb I never liked lamb before I tried fogos. They have chimmichuri sauce that pairs well with most of the meats. Also they give you plaintaina and mashed potatoes complimentary as well as cheese bread. I was a bit frustrated as I was trying to get the lamb but a table ahead of us kept getting all of it before we could get some. A server by name of Vladimir came over to help and he pretty much took care of us for the rest of the night getting us all the meats we desired and even replaced our silverware and plates as our server had mistakenly cleared them from our table.
This is my first time seeing them offer other ala carte items table side such as cocktails they prepare right in front of you and shrimp cocktail platters. The only thing I didn’t like is that you feel pressure of saying you’d like it but beware these items are not complimentary. We got the passion fruit drink table side it was about 15 bucks but was very fresh and tasty. I also had a blood orange manhattan and it was VERY strong but delicious! The old fashioned was strong as well.
I asked our server for a special happy Father’s Day signature on the bottom of one of the desserts and they did it for us what a nice surprise! They also gave everyone a $25 off coupon for a future...
Read moreThis was, hands down, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. If you value good customer service, think twice before coming here.
We arrived as a party of seven and were seated. Shortly after, we learned that another six people would be joining us. When we informed our waiter, he seemed visibly annoyed. He said he’d inform the manager, Victor. When Victor arrived, we explained the situation and requested to be moved to a larger table so we could start eating while waiting for the rest of our group. We were all exhausted and hungry after two long days of meetings. However, Victor refused, saying we couldn’t move or start eating until the additional six guests arrived.
As we waited, one of the girls in our party began feeling faint from hunger. We rushed to get her some food and asked the staff for help—orange juice, rubbing alcohol, anything. They took far too long to assist, so we mixed sugar into water and gave her some Sprite someone else from our group had ordered. When we again told Victor about the situation, his only response was, “This is not my fault.”
When the remaining guests finally arrived, Victor reluctantly allowed us to move and start eating. By that point, we were all preoccupied with making sure our friend didn’t pass out. The entire ordeal was stressful and poorly handled.
Once we were finally seated at the larger table and started eating from the buffet, things didn’t improve. The shared plates came out cold, the bread was hard, and the meat was undercooked and fatty. When we mentioned this to the server, his dismissive response was, “I’m not the cow, I just cook the meat.” To top it off, the buffet only had brown rice, which not everyone likes, and even that didn’t taste good.
Towards the end of our meal, the waitress came by and asked if we wanted any specific cuts of meat. I requested top sirloin, but instead of fulfilling my request, she ignored it and brought us the check. After all the issues we encountered, no discount was offered, despite each plate costing $67.
In short, the customer service was abysmal, the food was subpar, and the management showed zero empathy. Do yourself a favor and go to Texas de Brazil instead—where we had fantastic service and delicious food just two nights prior with a party of...
