We Almost Didn’t Make It Out Alive – Please Read Before Booking a UTV Tour

What was supposed to be a fun adventure turned into one of the most terrifying experiences of our lives. I’m sharing this because if it saves even one person from going through what we did, it’s worth it.

We signed up for a UTV tour thinking it would be an amazing experience specially being in Vegas.

Everything seemed to go smoothly and we were having an amazing time. Then, disaster struck. The belt on another UTV snapped without warning, and because of how much dirt there was we crashed into it. DAVID told us as part of the rules” it’s going to get very dirty just keep driving even if there’s a lot of dirt. Don’t stop!” The impact was brutal. Both my friend and I hurt our chests and backs, but at the time, we were full of shock and adrenaline we didn’t realize how bad it was.

we also, noticed something was wrong with our UTV. We told them that it clearly needed maintenance, but they completely brushed us off. They didn’t care.

Instead of helping us, EVELINA was rude, aggressive, and tried to blame us for what happened! didn’t care whatsoever. Even threatening to charge us for the damage. Asking for our credit cards when we simply told her it wasn’t our fault. It was an accident caused by THEIR UTV that needed maintenance. They refused to take us back to our hotel when they were responsible to take us back specially knowing Ubers don’t drive in the area we were in. As much as we tried to explain the situation. She just ignored and all she cared was to get the payment. At this point we knew she wasn’t going to take us back to the hotel so my friend and I left WALKING praying that we would get signal to get HELP. we walked as far as we could to get signal, BUT we were deep into the desert and no signal at all.

We had no water. No cell signal. No way to call for help. tried to call 911 and didn’t go through because we had no signal! PLUS it was scorching hot — easily dangerous enough to cause heatstroke.

The other couple on the tour who they were charging the fee too saw us walking and told EVELINA to stop and help us. She said, “NO!” and kept going. It still makes me sick to think about it. So inhumane of her! Specially knowing how far we were from the getting any service AND how hot it was!!

Thankfully, a family in a truck stoped and helped us get to the rode and made sure we had signal to call an uber. if they hadn’t, I honestly don’t know if we would have made it out alive. We were injured, disoriented, and stranded far from civilization.

the company didn’t even have proper insurance. They had no right operating tours like this — putting people’s lives at risk with no protection, no basic maintenance, and no accountability.

I’ve never felt so disposable in my life — like we were nothing more than a number to them. If you’re considering booking a UTV tour, please do your research. Your safety and your life are worth more than the risk of trusting the wrong company. Stay far, far away from this one.

The attention to detail was impressive. Snacks and water were provided throughout the day, ensuring we stayed hydrated and energized for all the adventures. I really appreciated the extra emphasis on safety, from the thorough briefing to the high-quality equipment provided.

The off-roading experience was a highlight for me. Riding the ATV was exhilarating. You will finish up dusty and cow-over -the-moon-happy!

The Hoover Dam portion of the tour was relaxing, informative, and easy. We had enough time to explore the main building, walk across the famous bridge, and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Mead. David's insights and guidance added depth to the experience, making it both educational and entertaining. Logistics were a non-issue.

What really set this tour apart was the personalized touch. Would definitely recommend the small size and private tour, allowing for a more intimate experience. David was always ready to take photos, ensuring we had plenty of memories to take home.

If you’re looking for an epic off-road experience in Las Vegas, look no further than @lvadrenalinejunkies. We booked the UTV tour along the Colorado River with a side trip to the Hoover Dam, and it was hands down one of the best adventures we’ve ever had.

From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel welcomed and excited for the ride ahead. The UTVs were top-of-the-line, well-maintained, and packed with power—perfect for tearing through the rugged desert terrain.
