I have mixed feelings after leaving this place. Your experience depends greatly on what you're looking for. Back when I was a single guy living alone, the sapphire would have been absolute paradise. That's because I'm usually good about tipping and relaxing and enjoying the experience for what it is. Compared to the club back home, this club is significantly bigger and has several times as many women. And quite frankly, the vast majority were beautiful. There was a good variety, and all were friendly. They also didn't pressure us (until the very end, but I'll get to that in a minute). Honestly, if I were coming here alone, I would've dropped serious money on lap dances and had the night out of my life. This is truly a table dance paradise.
But that's all it is. If you're not going for the table dances, you're probably going to be disappointed. The women either can't or just won't pole dance. Imagine a fat elderly woman going to one of those 1 hour Stripper 101 classes they do in Vegas. That's about the level of pole dancing we saw 95% of the time. In about 4 hours spent at the club, we saw maybe 3 moves that impressed us, totalling about 15 seconds. It is extremely lame. My club back home, which is relatively small and not considered a major attraction, has waaaay better pole dancing. No comparison. Do not go here for the stage show. This club is not about the stage show in the slightest. I wish I we're exaggerating, but it's literally that bad.
The driver from our hotel was super friendly and punctual. Nothing against her at all. But until she told us the price of the mandatory drink tickets was $40 per person, we were under the impression it was half that. The site never says, and we saw someone say $20 online. So counting tips and drinks, it ended up being about $100 just to get in the door. To me, that pretty much constitutes a substantial cover charge, no matter how many times they claim it's free.
When my wife and I were seated, we ultimately couldn't agree on any table dances. In typical couple fashion, my wife kept offering to pay for a dance for me, but I wanted her to enjoy it because it was her birthday. We ended up just enjoying our drinks and watching the stage dancers. For the first 3.5 hours, everyone was super friendly. But we spent about an hour making phone calls and talking to the host trying to get transportation back to our hotel, which they repeatedly advertise. One of the waitresses eventually began notifying us that we were expected to pay for drinks if we were sitting at the table. I explained to her that I was trying to arrange for transportation back to our hotel. Furthermore, it was almost 4am and the club was literally only about 1/4 full at that point. Still, she kept coming back and bothering us about it, as if we were taking up precious table space on a busy night. We finally ordered an Uber just to get out of there.
To be fair, we didn't spend nearly as much as I would have alone, because I had my wife with me. I realize they're trying to make money. But it's not like we stiffed them either. I tipped for transportation and all drinks, and we were not getting in anyone's way or causing a scene. Maybe I would've understood it more if we hadn't explained that they weren't delivering the promised return transportation.
In summary, this is probably one of the worst strip clubs for couples or people who want to watch serious pole dancing. However, it's perfect for something like a bachelor party where guys buy each other dances. That's why it's so hard to give this place a single rating. Still, I was lead to believe that this place would deliver an experience that would be hard to come by outside of Las Vegas, and ultimately for us, it let us down in...
Read moreHello, had a very up and down experience. Started great. Went to the Sapphire website. Started texting with someone. Set up a VIP table (with Drink Vouchers ) and arrange pick up from my hotel (free pick up but they tell you that you need to tip the driver) Once getting to the club they kind of just point you in a direction to a window where someone checks your id and credit card that was already charged for the table.
After which you are taken to a table and a waitress meets you at the table. Being it was my first time there she went over the process. Still all good.
After ordering a drink from the waitress the second she left to go get my drink I was attacked by girls with one girl just dropping right in my lap. After spending wait felt like way to long I was able to have the girl remove herself from my lap as I told her I wanted to just have my first drink and take it the club. The minute she left another girl pounced down. I again was able to get her off my lap and did find a gorgeous lady that I spent time with.
After talking for a bit we ended up agreeing to go to a vip room. Still all good. (Didnt love how aggressive the girls are but understand being that have a ton of girls there)
Once getting upstairs things changed. First it started that I was told it was $500 for the VIP room. Once there was told it’s $1,500 to the girl and I would have to order a $700 bottle of Champagne. Because I was enjoying my time with the lady I agreed. The manager upstairs told us to go to room#6 and someone would be in.
Well about 15 minutes later a waitress came in with a wine list. I don’t drink champagne and neither did the lady I was with but was still made to purchase it. Tried to order the cheapest bottle on the list was told by the server they were out of it. The cheapest bottle they had was around $1000. At this point was told nothing could be done because our time in the room had already started. So I went back enjoy my conversation with my host. About 15 minutes later the server brought the champagne. Popped it open and after 5-10 minutes was out the door. About 10 minutes later she came back with my bill when now included a 20% service fee for using a credit card. I was also told I needed to tip the server for bringing the Champagne. I gave her a $100 and a comment was made that is less than 10%.
So with that all behind me we were finally left alone until 10 minutes left when someone came in and tried to get me to do another hour. After me saying no about 7 times they said that we need to go back downstairs. Went downstairs. The lady I was with wanted to go change. While she did that I went looking for my waitress to get a drink being I still had a drink credit to use (can not use it upstairs) found the person that showed me to a table originally and he said he would find my waitress.
It took about 15 minutes of me standing around looking stupid for my waitress to come. It was busy so okay but was not offered a table to wait at or anything was just told to wait here. While waiting I was swamped again with girls as if I was fresh meat. Told them I was already with someone and just waiting for my waitress. They really did not care. Was even told that if she wanted to spend time with me she would have not let me out of her sight.
When the waitress did show up she did show me to a table and about the same time the lady I have been with came out and we ordered drinks and enjoyed some more time together.
In general the waitress downstairs was great just busy. Of course the lady I spent time with was Great. Just the VIP upstairs service was misleading and rude at times and really tried to force me into spending more time and...
Read moreWhen we first walked in we all thought wow this place is big and only half full. We were seated at one of the old velvet couches on floor since we did bottle service. We had pretty good deals on floor bottles. We all did a bunch of floor dances we were paying $30 a song plus tip. We did have a fun time on floor so figured We would then took a tour and see the whole club. We decided to go to back room downstairs and that’s when all the issues began. My friends credit card ended up being overcharged. He had to dispute charges to have them removed. We ended up going to downstairs hour back room and the same velvet couches looked old and unclean. I We all did an hour for $600 each plus $280 tip to each girl this seemed about what I spent elsewhere so I was fine with that. The rule that you can only get champagne or wine was beyond ridiculous. We all drink vodka so we were not happy about that. Then the waitress somehow manage to get my friend to give her a huge tip bigger than the dancers. He didn’t even remember signing for that. The waitress got a $320 tip and barely did a thing. I got about the same quality dances on the floor. I would say vip is a waste here. Even the upstairs private rooms they showed me seemed to have more rules on the type of alcohol. If I’m spending $800 hour plus tips I expect to get what I want to drink. The bouncers and management came across very rude. One of the dancers got called away and I heard the manager getting angry because she was trying to help with the drink tab. My friend was drunk and she was trying to help him tip waitress $100. She got in trouble for trying to get the waitress lower tip. This place is just shady, bad business practice all around. I’ve been to many VIP rooms I would say at this club to stay away. Best bet bring lots of cash and stick with floor dances. The bouncers we also tipped $50 dollars to and they barely even smiled. We would have given more but the attitude was so bad. The drinks are very overpriced in all the vip rooms and on the floor.$22 for a draft beer or basic vodka on the floor. The cover fees and atm fees seem to be the same at all the strip clubs so we weren’t suprised by that. I’ve been to other places in Vegas with Way less rules, better girls and we were treated much better by staff. I most likely won’t come back to this place when all of us had a better time at the other places. Also drink prices here are ridiculous and the champagne and wine only rule for downstairs VIP private...
