I am a person with a disability. I made an online order for pick up. No where in the app does it say I'd have to go inside and pick up my order. When I get there - no one was behind me. I pull up to the window and told the young lady my name and that I had an order for pick up. She rolled her eyes and said I had to go inside and get it. I told her that I am disabled and could not maneuver the curb then the door and the food. Especially since I was having a high pain day which is why I wanted to pick up dinner for my kids. She rolled her eyes again and went and told an older man. He came to the window and told me to come in. I told him that he is violating my rights for reasonable accommodation. He said he was not. Finally be handed me my order. I asked for his manager he said to go and closed the window. I refused to leave. Finally a manager come to the window and says that too many people have reported their meal not delivered so they have to insist orders are picked up inside. First of all I told him he was wrong to not come address me 5 mins back . He allowed his workers to be rude. Secondly I told them I was not an Uber driver or door dash. The second guy responded with " I don't know if you are really disabled" in a rude tone. I showed my handicap placard and told him he could match the number on it to my drivers license to prove it was mine. What many people don't understand is that curbs and doors and distance does matter to unseen disabilities. After I finally got my order I drove around to see that they did not have a button to open the door electronically, so on my bad days that alone is hard to do. In today's world I should not have to limit myself more and more to where I can go. This was completely unacceptable. Whatever verication he needed to prove I was who I said I was could have been done in the drive through. More places need to understand disabilities. The rude faces and tones made me feel less than human. I get that there are people who borrow other people's placards but I could prove it is mine. I just wanted to go and get a meal for my kids because the day prior I struggled and I wanted a peaceful night for me and them. Just an upsetting experience and the reason I am slowly being forced to plan my day around what is assessable to me. Churches chicken is ...

As I pull up to the drive thru, I order the 2 piece special with a side of jalapeƱos and a biscuit. First mistake of his was not telling me the price and just telling me to pull up. As I make it to the window, he then tells me the price. Which was not what I normally pay for the meal, as Iāve ordered it on multiple occasions. When I tell him this , he responds by saying, āOh, I didnāt tell you the price back there.ā Unbothered.
He then only proceeds to tell me about the change in price on the menu which was not changed yet, as he stated. Youāre meaning to tell me I have to tell you that the price has drastically changed only for you to bother telling me there was an update in your menu once I get up to the window and have to pry that information out? Absolutely not. I donāt want your service. As Iām telling him that I donāt want it and driving off, he makes a sly remark ending it off with, āRead the sign.ā
If youāre going to be disgusting, go somewhere else. Iām not the one. I donāt want your hands on my food or your service if youāre going to act like an entitled adult who works at a fast food place and hates their job. Not coming back again, and I advise anybody to not come here if youāre looking for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSpent $30 and the chicken was like cardboard. Saved my receipt and called to complain and the guy told me it was nothing he could do for me. He said to call a manager which I did and at the time she felt as though only my chicken should be replaced because I couldn't bring the food back. I told her I called to bring it back but your employee told me he couldn't help me and to call you. I then had to tell her after spending $30 to feed my family and couldn't take it back what are we supposed to do and what about the whole inconvenience of this all and a lot of other things I had to say. At the end of the day I let her know in my 50yrs of eating Church's Chicken I've never had any so bad and I'll never return to her location. I let her know I'll go to Kirby she was like that location closing so I'm not worried about that okay cool I'll go to W.W.
