The manager of the store refused to give me my food because I was using a code from the app and their system was down when I asked how he could ring up my order he stated that he wouldn’t serve me because I was giving him an attitude. I asked how he was able to enter my order without the computer working and he stated “ I entered it manually” I asked if he could manually enter my discount and he said “if you want to give me attitude you can manually go to another store.” This is incredibly unprofessional and the manager who was in charge does not have the customers best interest at heart. I was a paying customer who was using the technology provided by McDonald’s and this employee belittled me and stated I had an attitude because I said it was not my problem that their system was not working correctly I simply said in a very calm manner that if he could manually enter my food he could manually enter my discount. I feel this is the exact representation of McDonald’s you would expect. I will be reaching out to corporate. He refused to give me his name but said he was on Facebook and all other social media. One of the employees then took out their phone and took a picture of me a customer because I took a picture of the manger. I then called when I got home and asked to speak with the manager and he got on the phone and simply hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional! I called again and tried to speak with him and he hung up stating I could of went to another McDonald’s and to have a nice night before hanging up. After I called 7 times to complain he then told me sir you’re going through an awful lot of trouble over a $1 as if using the app you all provide is frowned upon and as if he isn’t the one not honoring his companies policy. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional individual. I have recordings of our phone calls and a recording of the video at the drive through. The lack of care is absolutely absurd and when you realize that this is the manger you are speaking with is utterly...
Read moreHorrible, horrible experience—worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited.
Waited ~10 minutes for food with no customers in front of us with what appeared to be a fully-staffed kitchen in the back.
Didn’t receive cups for drinks when order was brought out. Ignored for a few minutes by the staff when standing by the counter to ask for cups. Staff was not busy—just chatting with each other.
No sweet tea in the container by the soda fountain. Waited by the counter and again ignored by staff for a few minutes, even after calling out trying to get their attention. When I was finally helped, the worker asked if needed sweet tea, implying that she already knew that the container was empty.
Ordered the $4 deal (McChicken, fries, nuggets, drink). Received McChicken, fries, and drink, but no nuggets (didn’t realize until we had left the restaurant with our food). Instead of nuggets, I received another customer’s Big Mac (their receipt and order number was attached to the Big Mac box in my bag. I tried to eat the Big Mac, but it had an absolutely absurd amount of Mac sauce on it—like half a cup. I took one bite and was done.
TL;DR, Go to the Wendy’s down the street and...
Read moreMcDonald's is not one of my favs. This stems primarily from McDonald's serving substandard food. Then we the public wised up. Following bad press, along with increasing consumer knowledge, McDonald's was forced into providing more healthy options. My opinion is, why did they wait? The answer is of course, profit. Substandard meats packed with soy or other fillings cost much less than improved meats. The better choices had been available all along, McDonald's just chose the more profitable way, hell with the consumer. On the positive side I frequent McDonald's more often with some of their menu changes. The iced coffees are awesome. I could live on their sausage biscuits, and eggs. The chicken sandwich is very good. More healthy choices, more customers, and McDonald's is slowly but surely answering customer demand. I used to give one star but have moved to three with the added...
