The Wendy's here and on Hwy 544(surfside) cannot seem to get our orders right at all. Plain- Bun/Burger/Bacon/Cheese. Simple enough, except there's ALWAYS a problem. My kids now order other items because of how inconsistenty w/ this particular menu item. Always asked to pull forward to wait, which isn't a issue, My issue is the wait time or could it be that we are just forgotten about?! The staff is always extremely busy, like they cannot get caught up on orders at all!?! They are all very young & inexperienced as well, so I proceeds with patience if we decide to have Wendy's, considering they go thru employees like toilet paper. The supervisor is a nice guy, but he should have more help. Last Wednesday, I ordered 2 Baconater Meals Plain w/Pub Fries & Cokes. Everything was WRONG, our burgers looked like LITTLE JR Bacon ChsBrgs. Pub Fries with No Bacon I was told- I didn't say SINGLE OR DOUBLE?! Well that's a first, If my husband and I wanted little burgers we definitely would of picked a different menu item, after going through the drive thru again, waiting again, ordering and paying again, JUST TO MAKE THINGS EASIER on these kids but instead all I was given was attitude, told I ordered it WRONG, then once again im told to pull forward, we are told in the future when ordering now you know.! Yeah well, i know for years i never had to specify this before... NOT EVER! I'm not a complainer, but it is getting a lil OLD, with all the BS Wendy's is handing out, it's just not worth the hassle. This location is WAY BETTER and cleaner then 544. I definitely recommend for that reason alone, just a fyi if you like baconaters, or if you have any Modifications on your sandwich- CHECK IT B4 YOU LEAVE, THIS PLACE NEVER PICKS UP THEIR PHONE either if you happen to make it home& realize, You will have to go right thru the drive thru AGAIN, SO CHECK EACH ITEM U ORDER IF MODIFIED & good luck. As for us, we will NOT be returning to Wendy's at all!. I'm sorry but in my opinion, Wendy's has just FELL OFF! Terrible customer service! Customer Service Training NEEDS to improve, NEEDS to be BETTER! NO new menu items, just same ol BS and Burgers. A drive-thru experience b NOT be COMPLICATED, so why is it always utter chaos & a complete SH*T SHOW at Wendy's?!? You know it's bad when the experience can just RUIN YOUR APPETITE! & It's NOT THE 1ST TIME for my family & I, there's just so many chances you can give, hoping for a better outcome, and it's NOT BETTER @ ALL!

Tried to order 4 different things on the menu and none of it was available.. Finally we all orderd something they actually had. When we got our order on the tray it was thrown on there without care.. Fries actually fell off when I picked it up.. When we got to our table an employee came to our table grabbed an unwrapped burger from our tray and proceeds to tell us he needed to switch it .. How would he know which one of 4 burgers was the one that was incorrect? He went over to the counter put the burger he took from our tray into a bag to the burger out of another customers bag and put it back onto our tray the other customer looked at me with a confused look I went up to the counter and asked for another burger .. The other customer did, as well. The employee who conducted this switch asked why .. We both replied that we didn't want already touched burgers we wanted them to come from the kitchen , he then lied saying they did come from the kitchen.. After we both told him we watched him switch the burgers not replace them .. He then agreed to make new ones .. You are never ever suppose to take back food that has already been given to another customer and pass it off as "fresh from the kitchen" gross and unacceptable also a health hazard I will be...
Read moreI did a mobile order and I chose the drive through for my pickup option, when I pulled up a lady got on the intercom and very rudely said the drive through was closed and if I wanted to order I would have to come inside. I went inside and I could see over in the cooking area where food was everywhere on the floor, one girl cooking and one taking orders. I could hear more people talking in the back, I made a comment about being short staffed and the lady taking orders said that nobody wanted to do their job and she was ready to walk the hell out. A few minutes later another person came out of the restroom and started cooking and a manager came out of the back and was in regular street clothes with no hairnets gloves, nothing to make anything sanitary. This will be my last visit to this Wendy's... I've had 2 people that I personally know get hired as assistant managers here and they both walked out because the manager won't hold anyone responsible for anything and evidently the corporate office won't do anything to improve the situation either. Very sad that we pay so much for food and these are just a few things that are wrong, I could say many more but it is what it is.
