April 2025. The drive thru seemed to be getting in and out but I guess others were coming inside because of the small wrap around for the drive thru. Coming in, there were a few people ordering so I sat to look over the menu. After ordering, I noticed that there were other people still waiting in addition to the few ahead of me. The wait was about an hour for food and after being called up to get the meals, I was told that they were out of one of the items at the moment and there could be a substitute. The substitute was not the price of the original so I informed the cashier. About 30 min later, I was given the original item. I tell you who and what made the record-breaking long experience for receiving KFC meals better was the cashier (a tall guy at the counter) who showed much customer service and tried his best to please and inform customers during their wait. Kudos to him. He appeared to be new and still needed some help but he couldn't be blamed for chicken not being cooked in a decent amount of time. He just might be management material because he seemed to have the best demeanor at that particular time of chaos. OMG. A female worker with twists or dreads didn't have the same attitude. She was babbling about a number of things about drive thru customers' orders that could be heard out front. Luckily, none of them walked in to hear her. This guy walked up to the counter asking about his order and she didn't realize it since she was in the back. While he's up there asking, she asks who is driving a tow truck a few times. Nobody had a clue. She gets some kind of way and says "so nobody has a tow truck". The guy disengages from his conversation with the cashier and speaks up to her. She tells him "I need you to move". Definitely not the kindliest way to talk to a customer, especially who had been waiting I'm sure at that point for over 30 min on his food. After his approach to the counter, people were starting to get a little antsy but thankfully noone acted out of rage. That trip was a disaster. The original chicken was good but the extra crispy was not on point. I thought there was possibly an issue with texture because shortly after ordering, I heard a lady in the back ask a worker if he was sifting the flour. Key take-away is to order at the window if you go here. They definitely didn't sit at the window for 45 min-1 hour, although a lady did leave timely by ordering a...
Read moreOkay... Whew! Where do I start: My family and I saw Youtuber Daym Drops review the variety of KFC Nugget in all their flavors. So we decided to give it a try. I would recommend going in but as I went in for the multitude of missing items in my drive thru order there were a few guests inside missing items in their order as well. We ordered the nuggets Ga Gold, Sweet Sticky, Original Hot (which is like a Nashville Hot), and Korean BBQ. We avoided the Honey Siraucha because of the expected spiciness. So a total 40 nuggets, plus those great crinkle fries. Took the Crew a minute to wrap their heads on the concept of thier lack of accuracy by the expediter. The manager was doing the best she can trying to get food out promptly. After several rounds of "let's get my order right" they finally got everything correct. We got home to some Luke warm food that was decent. Our fries were palatable so that kept this review from being a 1 Star crusher. The facility was clean. Their biscuits are still "mouth moisture snatchers" so I recommend eating them while sipping on a beverage to avoid a choking hazard. My only complaint is on leadership organization, process implementing of making sure the expediter correctly check each order ticker has all the items in the bag if an order need to be walked to a waiting car. They need to go to Chick-fil-A U because they mostly get my business. My mother can not make a request for KFC in Conyers with me no more in 2024. It's only April and It's a reason I don't go there. Last time I had KFc especially in...
Read more10/22/2021. The worst experience. My husband and order to go from here at least twice a week. Last week, our order was missing the coleslaw. We decided not to drive back but instead, mention it the next time we order. On this visit I explained what occurred to the drive through employee since customers are not allowed to enter the dining room. She gave me a look of complexity and fear. I realized, she was apprehensive in communicating my issue to the on duty manager. She did and told me I would have to come inside. I drove around the building and entered the store. I glanced around and saw what appeared to be a large Asian man, working behind the counter. He yelled “I’ll be with you shortly”. After about two minutes he came around to the front. I asked if he was the Manager and he replied yes. I proceeded to explain what occurred and he immediately took a accusatory position. He told me I should have called. I explained that i didn’t think that was a big deal as I was going to mention it next time I visited KFC. He gave me a look as if I stole something and stated “I guess you can see it’s a big deal” . He then nastily tossed me a coleslaw and sarcastically said “here’s a large one, have a nice day”. I felt so small and humiliated. I said to him I guess it depends on what neighborhood your in that calling would be a big deal and I left. Karma is something. With that attitude and poor customer service, he’s lucky to be working. I now see why the employee was afraid of him. Awful person with a nasty disposition. Next time...
