My last few experiences have not been so great at this Panera. I sat in the drive through for almost 30 min on a Saturday in September of 2023 and there was only 1 car ahead of me; visited the same location in March 2024 waited about 25 minutes for 2 sausage, egg & cheese sandwiches on asiago bread, 1 charged mango lemonade and 1 vanilla latte. Of course by the time the food was ready coffee was cold and ice melted in drink. Fast forward to Saturday April 6th. Visited this same location for lunch with an app order - a half and half - French onion soup w/bread, a Fuji apple chicken salad and a frozen strawberry lemonade. Again, went into the store at the designated pick up time - order was not ready. Waited about 10 additional minutes for food had to wait another 5 for my drink. When she handed me my food she asked if I had received my drink at the front counter. I replied No, it was an online order. She asked someone else to make my drink and when the drink was handed to me it had spilled juice and stickiness all down the side of the cup, juice overflowing from the top that spilled in my car. 😩 When I got home, it was then that I discovered there were no bread crumbs in my soup nor was there any melted asiago cheese on top only onion soup - not what I paid for; additionally my salad …was a joke! There were no mixed greens only Romain lettuce, no feta cheese at all on the salad! I didn’t modify my order or request ANYTHING to be omitted or added. It was a simple order that the young lady left out key ingredients in. 3rd time and horrible experience. They are slow, food is subpar and not as advertised. Very disappointing. This store needs an overhaul from management to staff. Management should properly train staff in ingredients, food handling, efficiency & customer service. Maybe it’s management or lack thereof that has the trickle down effect on the staff..either way I will...
Read moreI like Panera most of the time. Crave it. Love it. This location really irritated me though. I walked in and a lady was sweeping the floor, pods in a ear, on the phone. Greeted me and I went to order. I got my pick two for dine in. My stuff came out wrapped to go. The side of bread was missing so I asked for it and the guy looked around and grabbed a piece off the counter. It was stale. I stopped walking to my table and the sweeping lady (possibly the manager) asked what was wrong. Told her about the bread and she looked and me eye brow raised and said “no we make it all fresh..” After she told me I was wrong and shook her head I said fine never mind. THEN a few feet from me she starts talking to whoever is on the phone, “yeah she said our bread is stale” in a unbelieving tone. I walked a way because it angered me. When I came back to my table a moment later she was still there and I told her she is welcome to feel the bread. She goes no we make it everyday. I said I believe that but it is hard as rock. She says it’s supposed to be hard on the outside, depends on the baker.. I know how the bread is supposed to be I have had many times.. It was hard everywhere but the very very middle which was still not “fresh”. Not the softness of “fresh”.. She then says that it’s probably just the air hardening it. I was done with the conversation by this point. Sat down looked away. She then I mean do you want chips or Apple instead.. I wanted the bread with my soup to dip.. It’s a big reason why I go to Panera! This lady swept in the same spot for at least 15 minutes. She swept in this place for an hour just in small areas! There was still stuff all over the floor too.. My big thing was how can you tell me I am wrong and not look at it or touch it… Why not offer me a new...
Read moreOn this particular afternoon I decided to go to my local Panera to get myself and family bagels. I took it amongst myself to order online for rapid delivery because it was raining pretty hard and I wanted to get home. I place my order for half a dozen bagels and the automatic system told me it will be ready in about 10 minutes. After ordering I was about five minutes away from Panera so I’ll waited in the car until my pick up time. I walked in about 10 minutes after my food was supposed to be prepared & I walked in. A young lady seems to be the manager spoke to me and asked me about my order and told me that it’ll be a few more minutes.
About this time it was about 15 minutes after bagels should have been prepared. So during these hard times I understood and I waited patiently. Not realizing that I was the only customer inside of the restaurant waiting for food other employees were talking and socializing and was bagging up a order and the bag ripped. Not being aware that I was standing there, one of the workers began to state that we should re-bag this order and another worker mentioned that it wasn’t serious and just take the bag to the rapid pick up order. No one acknowledged me to tell me my food was ready so I got aggravated. I walked to the station and realize that the order that was thrown unprofessionally and if happen to be mine.
This was horrible customer service as I walked out no one checked to see if I got everything or said thank you for your patience or have a nice day. I normally go to the drive-through and pick up food but honestly by coming in and seeing how customer service is, there’s a chance I may not be...
