Taqueria El Futuro — Restaurant in Conyers

The food here is very good. The keto tacos and tortas are especially amazing. I will say this though: prepare to spend some money. This place is on the high end of taqueria pricing (as in the most expensive I've ever been to [as in 3 dollars for a single taco pricey]) and for the price, I wouldn't say it stands out from other taquerias in the area. The flavor combos are good and so is the "futuro way" (I think that's what it's called) , which adds some sauces, curtido, and crushed takis but it feels like some things are taken off the clasico style which most restaurants give for free to get you to order the futuro style just to pay the extra dollar. So I do recommend this place but don't expect it to topple all other taquerias in Conyers. Go once and enjoy their unique take on some things and their consistenly delicious food but after that figure out a way to budget your next meal.

Edit: I'm going to change my review a little. I would give this place a 4.5 out of 5 if possible but Google doesn't like being very precise when it comes to making reviews more honest. I've noticed recently that the price of tacos in my area have increased so 3 dollars a taco is unfortunately the norm now. I can't take points off for their higher than normal prices because now they're about what everyone else charges. I still take off .5 stars because I stand with my view that, while they have extremely delicious food, it's hard to really give them a 5 star edge over other taquerias. So...

I've been eating here for over a year now. Today was the BEST WORST day of my life. My entire order was wrong... BUT it was the Tastiest Mistake Ever made. We ordered the Birria Chicken Quesadillas and Chicken Birria Fries and all our orders were Steak instead of Chicken. I'm a new Steak Fan! When I say that steak was tasty, juicy, and hella moist (I don't normally take about meat like this but it was hella good). The Quesa Tacos were fire. Those did come in Chicken and Pork as ordered. Whew! Fi-yer! I can't be mad no more when the food this good. I called them back to let them know I'm not returning this order we will just order chicken next time (I will check my plates before I leave). The Fresh Onions, Cilantro, Queso Fresco, and whatever greatness goodness bestest ever-est I can possibly say about this restaurant let me toss it in this review. It is tucked in the back of a Meat Market in the Plaza next to Goodwill behind Taco Bell. This place is a Hidden Gem in Conyers Georgia. It ain't hidden no more because I'm telling everyone I know about Taqueria El Futuro... You can't go wrong here with anything...

FIRST THINGS FIRST! THE RESTAURANT IS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF A GROCERY STORE! THE GROCERY STORE HAS A DIFFERENT NAME. I POSTED A PIC TO HELP... YOU'RE WELCOME! Secondly very friendly and helpful staff. I actually bought more stuff because of it. The food I did eat was actually decent, my neices and nephews like it; they called it unique. My only complaint is their take on the birria tacos. It's VERY DRY! oily and not cooked nor served with the sauce/soup. I discovered this after I paid and was sitting in my car. When I went back in to ask about it, I was told that they ran out earlier that day. SO THEN WHY NOT TELL ME SO THAT I CAN ORDER REGULAR TACOS AT REGULAR TACO PRICE! INSTEAD OF THESE HARD, DRY AND STILL MANAGED TO BE OILY, BURNT REGULAR LOOKING TACOS AT BIRRIA TACOS PRICE!!?!?!?!?!!!
