" Do you want me to call the cops"- GM Jay You can check my profile I have done a lot of reviews before that have hit some numbers. Update 2: it's June. No call back and no apology issued. And now after seeing how this company treats their long-term 2 decade employees (by giving them a cup and a pack of lifesavers 😬) I am fully aware that there is no resolution or apology forthcoming. Just waiting for the moment I find out someone has been targeted by this unhinged manager.
Update: No call back from corporate or the store. No apology given for the unprofessional behavior. The way this team is managed is absolutely mind boggling how they have learned to threaten police before actually empathizing and apologizing.
This was by and large the most traumatic experience with a "General Manager" I have ever had in my life. The drive thru workers were quick and friendly enough. I had my order within a very good window. No complaints there. I alerted the staff to half of my order missing and that is where this took a turn south. The general manager told me they packed my order and it couldn't be wrong. Even though the bag I was given clearly could not have included all items I paid for. When General Manager was called out on lying about how I was handed everything, even after admitting an item wasn't IN the bag because they called to the staff to BRING one of the items, they became very irate and gaslighting. GM started to boldly lie and say I was yelling and throwing food. An experience I would never believe had I not gone through it. I actually was hesitating on sending my open fries and nuggets back thru the window because who knows where the items are going. All General Manager had to do was LOOK at the bag. The attempt to intimidate me was traumatic.General Manager was staring me down and then said " Do you want me to call the cops" It shook me up so badly I had to take minutes to compose myself to drive safely. There was no call for this over a small error that I would never spend time being upset over. Everyone makes mistakes. The way I was treated is haunting me to this point of writing the review. I didn't want to blame the staff who have to work under these conditions nowadays. I appreciate all essential workers as they have gone through a lot. but I'm writing a review because for someone to escalate like that ... It's just ...I...
Read moreI Used BK App & ordered an offer for $5.50 double whopper & sm fry. I get to drive thru and the lady says no food except meals 10, 11, 12 only and the app appeared to show instantly paid on my debit card and gave digital receipt for items they did not have. I explained and she said she 'don't know anything about the app' and I stated it billed me on my card. She said go in the app and press cancel and get refunded back to card and I said there is no such button and it took my money for No Food. I asked to speak to the manager knowledgeable about the app and the next step to correct it. A very young looking guy standing there said he was the manager and 'She told you what to do' and I said there is no such button and when I close the app or leave the store the app believes that the order was filled and I received the food. I asked If he, as manager would please write the fact that I received no food on burger King stationary for my dispute to prove that I was not trying to steal food or anything. He refused and said No, We don't do that. He and the lady said take it up with 800 hotline and they wanted me out of drive thru. I had to leave with no food that I was charged for. As of Sunday, July 31, 2022 my bank account showed pending for 2 of the same bogus charges where I received NO FOOD, However; It was supposed to be the pending charge of $5.89 and a pending refund of $5.89 that should work itself out. I had submitted a help inquiry in the app stating that I was billed and the store did not have the food. Later that same night an email from Jessica H stated apology and it would take 3- 5 days for refund to process. Problem solved with the Exceptions of Inexperienced, Untrained, Unknowing, Uncaring Managers and Employees who have No Care of a job well done and come across as rude. Also, My having to wait 3 to 5 days for a refund is totally unacceptable when the store did not have to wait for their money at all with instant payment for something that I did...
Read moreMy order was made completely wrong after I repeated it twice! Thee drive-thru clerk was very unprofessional, nor did she give me my pricing at the speaker for me to gather my funds before approaching the window. She just told me to drive around without specifying which window to come to. So I go to the first window, and she yells out of the second window after sitting there a minute, for me to drive up. Once I got to the window, she spoke in an extremely LOW tone to wear I didn’t hear anything that was being said. I handed her my money, and she gave me my food immediately. I always check my bag before leaving the window because this lady has taken my order more than once prior to today and unfortunately ITS ALWAYS WRONG! So they redo my food , and I look in my bag, and she only puts 3 barbecues sauces, which I had to repeat a few times over thee speaker before getting to the window. So I sat to wait for her to open the window again, because I’ve worked in fast food before , specifically at a Burger King in my younger years, and honking my horn is unnecessary and rude in my personal opinion. She looked me directly in my eyes, and walked off. The young man comes to the window, who was handing out food to the front dinning area, and he asks what I need, and I told him I was missing a bbq sauce. He repeated to me I was suppose to have four, and I told him I only had three so I just needed one more. He goes and grabs four more bbq sauces and tried to hand them to me, which to me, he was trying to be funny. So i nicely told him I only needed one. Then I proceed to ask the lady who walked aways name and he told me he could NOT give out names. Which I know for a fact is never the case! It’s very disappointing. And my fries were cold on top...
