Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Cookeville

I love Chipotle! Their food is always fresh and has so much flavor. Sometimes I get a burrito 🌯, which is usually HUGE, and other times I get a salad 🥗. I normally get chicken for my protein. My mom loves getting the carnita tacos 🌮. They have several different protein choices, so I think anyone can find something to eat here. And sometimes I like to eat vegetarian and you can totally do that here as well. We normally get guacamole as well. I don't know why all other Mexican places make guacamole WITHOUT SALT! You cannot make guacamole without salting it. It has absolutely no flavor without salt. Thank goodness one restaurant finally understands this concept!!! They are also doing a great job handling Covid protocols. You have to wear a mask inside unless you're eating. They have very limited indoor seating, but they do have outdoor seating. I once again, and perhaps for the last time I turn away from the closing Chipotle door, sulan and dejected. Haunted by memories of reasonably priced tacos and fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Each step away I take imbibes me recollections of how they never used to charge for tortillas on the side. As I near my vehicle, the weight of my burrito laden brown paper bag in my hand steals me away from these indulgent memories of the not so distant past. Only to force the words of the cashiers jarringly adolescent statement to me moments ago "it's only fifty cents extra". He, too young and ignorant of the world to possibly understand the epistemological commentary of our modern capitalistic society he just so simplistically underpinned with his words. I hate to give such an a bad review. But this today has made it 3 times of unsatisfied customer svc. First time 2 wks ago, went personally to pick up a chicken bowl and the lady making it forgot to add the actual chicken.by the time I got back to work and realize the mistake. We called right away and was told nothing can be done. Then today asked for 2 bowls and my co worker ask and paid for extra chicken and steak and he might as well kept his money. It was very little and he took the time to rush back to show them and still they refuse to make it right. They made him pay for another meal an extra $11 aside from his original $24 dollars meal.
