Never went to this Chick-fil-A before yesterday and won’t go back. I walked in around 4p on a Monday and only one family in line at the counter. After they were done ordering, the cashier, Ethan, went to the back and I watched him talking to coworkers for a good minute (not multi-tasking, like while getting drinks, or anything). Okay, I thought, must be important. Then he walked past me a few times and never acknowledged my standing there. Finally, after a solid 3 minutes of waiting with no acknowledgment, another worker who had already passed me a couple times bringing out orders asked if I had been helped. I told him I hadn’t when Ethan returned to the counter so the worker assumed he’d help me and walked away. But then Ethan just started getting drinks and STILL never acknowledged me. He clearly saw me and heard me tell his coworker I hadn’t been helped yet because we made eye contact when it happened. Still not a peep, he just went about working another order without even a, ”I’ll be right with you…” With groceries in the car in the middle of a very hot day, on top of my frustration, I just left. This is not the Chick-fil-A service I’m used to at...
Read moreFrom the moment I pulled into Chick-fil-A, Stone didn’t just greet me; he welcomed me like a long-lost brother returning from battle. His “My pleasure” didn’t sound like a phrase — it sounded like a sacred oath, sworn under the heavens.
When I asked for extra sauce, Stone didn’t hesitate. He moved with the precision of a Navy SEAL, delivering those Polynesian packets like they were treasure chests filled with liquid gold.
Friendly? This man redefines the word. He radiates kindness like the sun, but somehow it feels personal — like he reserved all that warmth just for you. By the end of the meal, I wasn’t sure if I had just ordered a chicken sandwich or received an experience that healed my soul.
Chick-fil-A is already known for great service, but Stone makes the rest of them look like amateurs in comparison. If the company has any sense, they’ll build the next restaurant around him, name it “Stone-fil-A,” and let him run the show.
Bottom line: Stone isn’t just an employee. He’s a legend. A warrior of hospitality. The Michelangelo of drive-thru service. Chick-fil-A, give this man a raise — or at least a golden chicken...
Read moreFood is good but it's the only good thing about this Chick-fil-A. We are Irma evacuees visiting Cookeville and expected to get the usual wonderful Chick fil A experience. The employee at the drive thru rang our order incorrectly then argued with us about it going so far as to ask for the receipt (which has never happened to me before at Chick fil A and since they rang the order wrong and didn't repeat it back to us, the receipt proves nothing) for a kids applesauce when we had spent over $40 there. After the dispute, they gave us the applesauce and took back the fries (no problem there as we don't want food we didn't pay for but honestly it's not as if they could sell them after they took them back) and failed to give us the usual "my pleasure" after we said thank you. I'm not sure how the proprietor there is training his employees but this was honestly the worst Chick fil A experience...
