I had a large family gathering and we came up with the idea bagels would be a good/ quick and easy compromise for breakfast. We were not sure what they would have available so we went in to the store to place our order. We wanted to get two orders of the bag of bagels. (26 total bagels) as soon as we said bag of bagels the girl ( Heather F. Per my receipt) was visibly irritated. And got more agitated when we asked her to slice them. They have a machine mind you she wasn't cutting them by hand or anything. A few minutes later a couple walks in and they were very kind and patient and she kept apologizing for our large order. They were very understanding and we even got to chatting. I started to tune back into what Heather was telling my mom "If you guys could give us a heads up next time that would be great (a bit snarky), etc" I was getting angry now. We didn't know what they had left in way of bagels since we tried to be nice enough to miss the morning crowd and make things easier for her. We had also ordered a few muffins and 2 cinnamon rolls and when we got to the car I realized that wasn't in the bag. I went in to get them and HEATHER was COMPLAINING ABOUT US TO THE NEXT CUSTOMER. Needless to say I was pretty livid and it was all I could do to keep nice. I tried to explain to her that we didn't know what they would have left over so we couldn't give them a heads up. Honestly I would have liked to never gone back but my family wanted a few more bagels the next day. To make it easier on Heather I at least only ordered one bag since her mind just can't seem to handle a larger order. If your looking for nice customer service...
Read moreThis is the most disappointing paneara bread I've ever been to. The employees dont care about thier job (I watch 3 or 4 of them drag in at 9:45 in the morning on wednesdays) , they are ALWAYS out of bread, and they are always out of coffee. One, if not all of thier self checkout are broken all the time. Today I asked for a pager because I went through thier self checkout (because I hate dealing with the employees sassy attitude and unwillingness to place my order, not to mention thier lack of knowledge on thier own systems) and they said "ok, we'll get you one in a minute" so I wait. I wait a minute, no one comes. I ask the girl at the front "can I please get a pager?" She asks "did you pay?" Well you cant pay without a pager on the self checkout. So I replied with just that "no I cant pay till I get a pager" she snaps back "well sorry I didnt know WHAT you were ASKING" Then after a few seconds my pager goes off (like after 15seconds) and I go to the food pickup. The manager claims they are out of bread. OUT OF BREAD. Panera BREAD is out of bread!? For the 7th time I've been here they are out of flippin bread what in the world are yall doing back there!? Anyway, my father says every time we come in there he cant get fresh coffee because they are out. At 9:45am they are out of coffee. 9 times out of 10 my order has been WRONG. Half the time I'm telling them they are out of ice and out of napkins. I clean thier tables. I've told them when they are out of cups and lids. NO ONE CARES. This place SUCKS. It's so disappointing that no ones cares about thier job. I'm done with cookeville panera bread. This place...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. They not only didn't do their job, they lied to my face! At 6am this morning, I placed an order online for a dozen everything bagels. Six hours later, I went to their store to pick up my order. When it wasn't waiting for me, I inquired what happened to the order I already paid for. I was told they were out of everything bagels so they had cancelled my order earlier that day. I told them I placed the order at 6am online and the item wasn't grayed out (which meant the item was available at the time I ordered it) and it was obvious someone didn't do their job and pull the bagels I had ordered from the shelves at the time I ordered them so they would be available when I came to pick them up. I also told them I had not received any notice the order had been cancelled, or I would never have made the 2 hour round trip to pick them up! As soon as I got back to my car, I opened my email... and, sure enough, they had NOT cancelled my order earlier that day as they said. They cancelled it the moment I walked out the store...and the time stamp on the email proves that fact. I am furious they wasted 2 hours of my time (not to mention the gas!) driving to their store and back for nothing. I will NEVER...
