Winking Lizard Copley — Restaurant in Copley Township

I've been going here for about 8 years or so. I've been to basically all of the winking lizards in the area. This one just happens to be closest to my house. I placed an order this evening online and this is the first time I had done this. My daughter came out perfect. It was hot and correct and I have no complaints about that. My complaint was when I tried to purchase some of the lizard sauces. I was going to buy a bottle of each of my favorite wing sauce. I placed the order paid for the order at the counter and proceeded to wait and wait and wait and wait until finally I left without my order. I then called on my way home with my now cold food from waiting. I asked for a manager and after a while on hold a manager did come on. I explained the situation I'm a long time customer and even do the beer tour there. Immediately he became defensive and his tone changed. He basically scolded me for not waiting telling me that his staff was overworked and that the sauce is usually take an extended period of time to come out as they have to make them. I know this to be incorrect as I've purchased sauces from the peninsula location and have had them almost immediately. The manager did not seem to care and after a period of silence on the phone offered to refund my money for the sauces that they failed to deliver. went here with my mom tonight and left disappointed. i had already been here once before with my friend around lunchtime and it was great! maybe it was because of how busy it was, but the girl at the front wasn't the nicest when we were trying to get a table. it took maybe 15 minutes for our server to come even take an order for our drinks and appetizer, took over 10 minutes for us to get our drinks while a lot of other tables that came in after us were getting more attention. we were a party of two, but at the very least communicate with us? our appetizer came out and then our server asked us how things were going and then disappeared for over 20 minutes. she then came by when we had just got our food to ask how it was, then disappeared again for another 20 minutes. She came back when we finished eating and THEN asked me if i wanted a refill when the table behind us already had two rounds of drinks and they also came in after us. at that point, we were already upset with the experience, so we just asked for boxes and it took 15 minutes to get that and our check. when we got our check, she just walked away from us and we were not communicated with on where to pay. overall, a very upsetting experience and i will not be coming back, it's unfortunate since the...

My mother, her boyfriend, and I went to this Winking Lizard today and I did not know what to expect. I went to the location in Cleveland years ago and absolutely loved the experience, the Copley location not so much.

Firstly, our fountain drinks were flat and my mother's Mudslide did not taste good for her. I suppose their strict pouring of the alcohol would do that. When she asked about doubling it the server told us it would have cost "too much". Anyway...

When the food order came in [tonight was the $.55 traditional wing and small pizza for $5 night], the pizza we ordered was made to our specifications, two of our sides were not put in the order, and the potato skin appetizer was cold. The server may have felt overwhelmed with the 3 or 4 tables he was attending when we got there.

Throughout the meal the server did not pre-bus our table at all, and at this point of the meal our table had quite a bit plates and used glasses. So we then got the attention manager after we talked to him he removed items that were not of good quality and brought out the order of fries the server completely forgot to put in for us.

We left, paid, tipped, then left.
