I had a disappointing experience at Church's Chicken recently. I arrived at the establishment and placed my order, but unfortunately, the staff seemed to have difficulty understanding my request. After finally getting my order in, I waited patiently for what was supposed to be a 7-minute wait for my food. However, almost 30 minutes later, I decided to check on the status.
To my dismay, I was greeted by a disgusting smell and a very unsanitary kitchen environment. It was clear that cleanliness standards were not being upheld. When I inquired about my order, I was informed that they had forgotten about it and were just then preparing it. This was quite frustrating.
As I continued to wait, I noticed an employee behaving strangely. He initially walked towards me but then turned around and seemed to be discussing something with two other staff members. This lack of professionalism did not inspire confidence.
When I finally received my order and checked it, I discovered that my 5-piece chicken tender order was missing a piece. When I brought this to the attention of the staff at the window, their response was perplexing. They mentioned something about an extra piece in my 3-piece order and suggested that I take it out to complete the 5-piece order. This seemed like an unnecessary and illogical solution to a mistake they had made.
To make matters worse, the food itself was of poor quality – overcooked and burnt. In the end, I had to discard it, which was truly disappointing. This experience was my first and, without a doubt, my last visit to this establishment. The staff's unfriendly, rude, and unprofessional demeanor, coupled with the unsanitary conditions and subpar food, left me with no desire to return. I hope this feedback can help them improve their service and maintain higher standards in the future.
In addition to my previous comments, I believe that a call to the health department is long overdue. The unsanitary conditions I encountered in the kitchen were not just a matter of inconvenience but a serious concern for public health and safety. It is essential that such issues be addressed promptly to ensure the well-being of all customers.
I want to make it clear that my intention in sharing this feedback is not to seek a free meal or a credit at this location. I have no plans to ever return there due to the unfortunate experience I had. My primary concern is for the issues I encountered to be acknowledged and addressed, and if possible, a refund to my original form of payment for the subpar food and disappointing service. My hope is that these concerns will be taken seriously by the management and ownership of the...
Read moreFirst time at this location but put in an order in the drive thru for a grande meal coming out to a little over 37 dollars. We had two cars in front of us and seemed to get their food in a decent amount of time. When we ordered they did inform us it would be a little wait for chicken which we said was okay and understood cause the amount that comes with the grande family meal. We asked for half spicy and half regular. We paid and pulled around from to wait. We ended up waiting 30 minutes before I went in to ask how much longer on our order, I could see they had most of it bagged and informed me that they were waiting on mashed potato’s. The way they talked to me was very unprofessional like they were annoyed, including the manager. We ended up getting our food 10 minutes later, and the lady who brought it was very kind and seemed apologetic for the wait, and insured us everything in our order was fresh. as we pulled away I could smell the grease on it(no I’m not a Karen I understand it’s chicken) but at other locations I’ve only had good crispy chicken with little to no excess grease on the outside we got it open and all the chicken was burnt. Like pieces of the skin were black…smelt burnt, tasted burnt, and the skin was soggy dripping in grease. I couldn’t eat it. Everything. Else was fresh though. All my husband said was “we waited 40 minutes for them to burn out chicken, won’t be going back to that location” then I got to thinking, we’ve had to wait for food at Church’s before, ordering the same meal for our family , it took maybe 10 minutes. When I went into the store to ask for hot sauce employees seemed out of it, dazed and incredibly inconsiderate. They know what they are doing. New management should change the “Now Hibing” too. A B isn’t an R. Just sayin. Restaurant seemed dirty and not unkept well. We will go to Killeen...
Read moreWhen I came into this place, and placed my 91 yr old mother's order the woman taking my order was very rude, when she was putting the order together I noticed the honey biscuits that she was taking from the tray were dark brown on top but the ones in back were light golden, she had her back to me but my voice is loud and deep tone I asked her if I could get one of the lighter ones instead of the dark ones due to my 91yr old mother having no teeth on top of her mouth. She totally ignored me. My order consisted of 2 orders, one with tenders and a side which I got Mac n cheese as a side ask if that was a side acknowledged yes, stated as I was about to leave it would be .50 for Mac n cheese and they forgot my jalapeño which I found after checking the order. The chicken had been there awhile which I would understand at 0630 maybe but they had to fry fresh okra, they were out of coleslaw. This establishment states under new management, well think they need to change to another...
