His level of attention to detail, service and energy are felt just like the first sip of his Spanish Old Fashioned..
So just in case YOU reading this find yourself close to this wonderful Restaurant tonight, i can assure you there is no better night, than a...

Read moreMy son and family invited us for Motherâs Day brunch. We were a group of 7 people and we were seated upstairs. Everything started off right but unfortunately went south rather quickly. Isabella our server took our drink orders. We ordered bottomless mimosas. My Traditional Mimosa lacked Champagne and what is supposed to be orange juice, tasted powdery like Tang! I changed it to White Wine Mimosa, first one was good but second one wasnât. My son ordered Beer Mimosa, first one tasted okay, second one was murky, didnât look and/or tasted like the first one. We brought it up to our server and her response was, the first drinks were made by the downstairs bartender and second one were made by the upstairs bartender. There should not be any disparities between the two bartenders. Are the bartenders being trained or are they winging it?
We placed our orders, some of us from the brunch menu and others from the regular menu. Both my daughter-in-law and my Huevos Bulla were served but nobody else was served. I donât like to eat before anyone else but was encouraged by my family to do so. Had I waited my food would have been iced cold. We noticed a male server delivered our same entree to the table next to us to a white man and the server scrambled/tossed them for him but we were not offered the same service. One of our guests ordered Hazelnut Waffles and after a long wait they served her âplain wafflesâ with no hazelnut sauce and on top of that they were cold! She flagged a male server and told him that is not what she ordered and he took it back to the kitchen. My husband and son were served the burgers which took a long time; much later than the rest of us and were not offered any ketchup. We flagged our server and asked for ketchup but it was never delivered.
The food was being served two dishes at a time with long lapses in between. WHEN SERVING MULTIPLE ENTREES RESTAURANTS PUT TOGETHER THE ORDERS SO THAT ALL THE PARTY CAN EAT AT THE SAME TIME. THIS IS COMMON PRACTICE.
I donât like to complain, but the fact is that the wait staff need a little more training. A female server (not Isabella) reached across the table to serve water and her chest was above a guestâs meal, in front of same white guyâs face mentioned above whose entree was scrambled/tossed. THE GENERAL RULE IS TO SERVE FROM THE GUESTâS LEFT, REMOVE FROM THE RIGHT.
Service was subpar, drinks and food were average. Nobody checked on us to make sure we were good during the entire time! We were not impressed.
It seems that other guests who attended Motherâs Day brunch had good service but sadly we did not. At the same time makes me wonder about reviewerâs credibility that have just a few reviews on...
Read moreToday was my motherâs birthday, and we chose to celebrate at Bulla. Iâve dined at several Bulla locations, including Atlanta, and I frequently visit the Doral location since itâs close to me. However, this time we went to the Coral Gables location because itâs nearer to my momâs homeâand unfortunately, it was a complete disaster. From the moment we were seated, our server, Ernesto, appeared distracted and disengaged. It took him an unusually long time to return to take our order after bringing water, and he even served another table that arrived after us first. Our table was never cleared, leaving dirty plates everywhere, so when the paella arrived, there was literally no space to set it down. Only then did someone finally clear the table. To make matters worse, my brotherâs meal never came. When I asked Ernesto, he first assured me it was on the way, then returned later to say it had just come out. Minutes after that, I had to flag down a manager. The manager later admitted the order hadnât even been placed and said they would remove it from the bill. At that point, it was clear Ernesto had not been honest and his service was completely unacceptable. Adding to the disappointment, this location doesnât serve âpulpo a la gallega,â a traditional Spanish dish available at the Doral restaurant. What should have been a joyful, memorable occasion for my motherâs birthday turned into an unforgettable disappointment. What upset me the most happened at the end: as I was paying, Ernesto stood uncomfortably close beside me. I always tip fairly, but his presence made me feel pressured into leaving an automatic 18% gratuity that was far from earned.
Sadly, I will not be returning to this location.
"UPDATE" Sunday 8/24/2025, Thank you for replying to my review, but unfortunately another disappointment. The URL adress sent does not work, I am not sure you want to hear more from me. Also not sure what other details you want about my review, as I was very detailed...
