This place is wonderful. Joseph is a consistent fixture which for me has major appeal. His product passion, speed to please, combined with his ability to converse and relate to a host of different customer types make him marketable in any business he'd have interest in trying. So far I've tried the Tahitian Vanilla Latte made with oat mashed up with in house made Dulce De Leche syrup. Both steamed and iced. Both wonderful. I've also had the tea - also very nice.

I would agree with one of the reviewers below that Cafe Grumpy does have a to-go feel. I'm not willing at this point to ding them a star because of it. I believe that's more of a reflection of this new Miami culture we live in. It lacks that fine coffee over intellectual conversations that you'd find in San Francisco or Seattle.

Update: While I still think the customer service here is exceptional, in keeping my reviews updated and honest to protect your hard earned money, I was disappointed with my recent holiday experience. An Eggnog latte was advertised featuring an eggnog from an artisan creamery. I leaped at the option! Holiday options pictured. When the barista went to prepare my latte she revealed a carton of run of the mill Publix! I immediately felt like a victim of bait and switch. I came in for coffee and the experience was definitely GRUMPY.. This was my first visit with this place and when I walked in I automatically got looked at weird, but I ignored it and order my coffee. When I ordered the person seemed like they were already in a bad mood and very uninterested in helping me out. The coffee itself was good but the vibe of the cafe and staff made me uncomfortable so I left as soon as I could. I spoke with someone (forgot their name but they were short) about my ordering experience and they just blew it off and kind of hinted at the fact that it is called Grumpy Cafe, insinuating this is a fun joke or something.
