I love the food that is served here. Always fresh and good portions as well. However last time I went i found myself very disappointed with the food and mostly the service I received. Usually I dine here during lunch hours where a lovely waitress (forgot her name but she wears glasses) has taken care of the table. Her service is always 100 and quick. I decided with my friend to go for an early dinner. The restaurant was empty, in fact we were the only table there. Mario was our server. We ordered our food, gyro sandwich and calamari to begin with. When he brings the drinks he tells us that he forgot their fryer was broken so nothing that was fried could be served. The sandwich comes with a bed of fries. He told me just that it wouldn't comes with fries. So I had to ask him: "okay, what are the other options I can choose from then?" My friend wanted a salad but he said it would be an up charge. Something I don't find reasonable due to the restaurants inconvenience. So we ended up ordering like house potatoes that's cooked in the oven. Being the only table there our 2 appetizers and 1 entree took more than 30 minutes to arrive to the table. When the food finally arrives all the pieces of bread for the hummus we ordered was burned and the potatoes that came with the sandwich was just pitiful as well. I told Mario, "that's the side potato? Compared to all the fries that regularly comes with the sandwich its a ripoff. I'm paying the same price." His response was a smirk and a laugh followed by the sarcastic comment "I guess the potatoes are small today." and walked away. After that he didn't pass by the table once more to check if the food was even good, if we wanted another drink, or if we needed anything else at all. My friend has to start waiving to call his attention and asked for the tip. It seemed that either a manager or owner of the hotel or restaurant were there and didn't bother to pass by the table either. They were actually talking with the server the whole time. Unfortunately as good as the food is here, after this experience I prefer to make the drive as long as I get a good service.

This charming Greek restaurant nestled in Coral Gables exceeded all my expectations. The service provided by two cheerful Cuban girls was simply outstanding, adding to the welcoming ambiance of the place. During lunch, I indulged in a tantalizing dish of succulent chicken, cooked to absolute perfection with a blend of aromatic herbs and served with delectable roasted potatoes and a fresh side salad. The meal was delightfully satisfying and made to order with utmost care, leaving me highly impressed. Despite being open for years, I had never come across this hidden dining gem before. The free peripheral parking was an added perk, and its proximity to Calle 8 added a convenient touch. Not to mention, the entrance of the restaurant is adorned with an impeccable collection of beautiful plants, making it an alluring sight to experience. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try – you won't regret it!

We ate at the restaurant one evening and the next evening we ordered the same items and ate in our room. The feta cheese platter was amazing with a few olives 🫒 and Pita bread as well. We got the grilled chicken breast with vegetables and we were supposed to get Greek potatoes with our take out meal but I forgot that we didn't get them until we were done, so next time hopefully we will get them with our order. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. The restaurant sparkles ✨️ and the staff do as well. I think if you enjoy Greek food that is delicious you won't be disappointed. You won't leave hungry either. My friend and I shared one dinner and appetizer between us and we didn't even want a dessert before bed.

I think saying “DISASTER” is an understatement. I came here a few times to have lunch and dinner since some friends of mine were staying here on a business trip. I really don’t know where to start. One time for lunch, I ordered chicken over Greek salad. Some lettuce was brown and had dirt. The chicken, which was supposed to be grilled chicken breast, was a small piece and another smaller piece under that. It didn’t even look like it was a whole piece that broke in half. It looked like it was a leftover piece from another plate- one piece was really burnt and the other one was cold. I lost my appetite right away. I asked for a Bloody Mary and my friends had finished their wine and half their meal before I got my drink. The waitress had no idea how to make the cocktail so she brought someone from the kitchen to make my drink!

So the first time I was there in the evening was actually interesting. My friends and I were watching a game on TV and the girl sitting across from us was constantly using eye contact, looking at my watch and smiling. I just nodded and asked my buddies if they knew her but they said they have seen her by the pool and in the elevator. I thought ok- nothing big, just a hotel guest. When the waiter came by, this time I did not attempt to ask for a cocktail. I just stuck with beer. The following night, my friends said to just have dinner there and then we would be on our way out somewhere else. When I walked into the restaurant, I noticed the same girl from the previous night was there and was starring at my car and smiling at me again. I felt uncomfortable when I sat down with my friends because she was looking over at our table the whole time. As I took the menu to order, I saw a lady coming out of the kitchen holding a plate up high and using her hands to eat. She was chewing and going into the bar to get a drink and walked out of the restaurant with her plate. Hey it’s just someone walking around like they are in their living room! How normal is that?! The other girl who was starring and smiling for the evening then lifted her arms and kept waving around this small paper in her hand and repeating the waiter’s name so she can order from the “Dinner Specials” advertised by the bar. She then started talking to some guys at another table, laughing hysterically and it seemed like she was asking them about their “evening plans” because all I could hear her say repeatedly is that she has no money, she cant go out with no money. It was a little disturbing but it seemed like she was doing a side business there or something.

I think one of the last times I came here was lunchtime. It was a quiet and rainy afternoon and let me just say that I felt like I was in a movie. The same lady who walked around with a plate in her hands a few nights ago was now changing the TV channel with the remote at the bar and using her filthy hands that had food on them. She went to the kitchen and started screaming that someone burnt her food, that she left for 5 minutes and they can’t even watch her pot. I assume she was cooking in a restaurant kitchen instead of her own home. How sanitary is that? I was curious so I asked the waiter if that lady was the one who made my lunch and he laughed and said no she is the girlfriend of the owner. I think coming here was an experience that I don’t wish for anyone unless you are looking for unusual...

I was looking forward to eating here b/c I'd read all these reviews about the quality and authenticity of the food, and I must say I am highly disappointed (and confused b/c they were recent reviews)! We tried the 3 mixed spreads apps, and it was the blandest thing I've ever eaten. Let me be clear- the taramosalata (a caviar spread) was BLAND, it had no caviar taste, the tatziki was a cheap, watery yogurt with a few cucumber shavings, and the hummus was worse than any I've ever eaten - homemade or store bought. My octopus was bland and overcooked -as were the others. All the components of hubby's lamb dinner lacked flavor. Food was a total disappointment all around. Unfortunately, the service wasn't spectacular, either: Even with only 3 tables, the server kept disappearing for long periods into the kitchen, and I could hear other patrons asking each other where she'd gone. When hubby finally flagged her down for a water refill, she only filled his, no one else's, and kept fleeing (3 times) when it was the only beverage on the table. Definitely not...
