We've never had any issues with this establishment until tonight. We ordered our food at 7:30pm, with no issue, and was advised that our food will be delivered in 45 minutes to an hour. Our food was delivered by 8:15pm by a very sweet and kind young man, probably the highlight of our experience tonight. We ordered the 1 large cheese pizza, 20 MILD wings (foreshadowing alert) with a side of medium sauce, and 1-2 liter soda deal which came to $30 and change after everything. My very hungry family was ready to dig in until we noticed the wings were covered in medium sauce, I even tasted the sauce that pooled in the bottom of the container and it was indeed the same exact medium sauce that was served on the side. I'm the only one in my family that can tolerate spicy food, my sister is highly allergic to anything that's spicy, hence why we ordered mild wings. I called Annie's back and advised the young lady on the phone that we were given medium wings instead of mild, she put me on hold so she can speak to the cook to confirm my complaint. She returns only to tell me that the cook made mild wings for us, which is a 100% false, I then reiterated that our wings are smothered in the same exact medium sauce that was served on the side. She puts me on hold, again, then a gentleman answers stating that he's the manager and the cook. He claims that their mild sauce is butter mixed with a little bit of their medium sauce, which makes absolutely no sense considering that mild is meant to be mild with no spice at all. The standard for mild wings is butter sauce with nothing else added, most wing places even advise that their mild sauce has no spice when taking down orders. After I tell him that his employee never advised that their mild sauce is spicy, he continues to argue with me and tell me their mild wings aren't spicy at all. Of course, that's a subjective statement because everyone's tolerance for spice is different. But when I say that my family cannot tolerate spicy food, it's not a preference, it's due to medical issues and allergies which should be a top priority for any food establishment. He told me over and over that I'm wrong and that theit wings aren't spicy. Every person in my family smelled the sauce on these wings, I even tasted the sauce at the bottom of the container, there was no butter, it was all medium sauce. After he argued with me for about 15 minutes, basically telling me that I don't know what I'm talking about, he put me on hold only to hang up on me after a minute or so. I call back again and he finally agrees to remake an order of plain wings, re-deliver the wings, and swap them out within 15 minutes. 30 minutes later, the same sweet delivery driver delivers the new wings and apologizes for the trouble.
I don't normally leave reviews unless something exceptional takes places, positive or negative. Despite the order nonsense, our pizza was rubbery and bland. The wings that were re-delivered were over breaded and some were even undercooked. Even the 2 liter of soda we received was warm. Overall, this experience was poor and we're pretty sad that this establishment treated long time customers in this manner. We won't be returning customers of Annie's Pizza.
The owner should seriously consider re-training their staff on proper customer service etiquette and ALSO change their thinking of what mild wings should be. I can tolerate a lot of spice, but there's no way in hell that any person who chose to order mild wings would be able to tolerate their version of mild wings.
Good luck moving forward, your establishment is...
Read moreI ordered the pasta fagioli soup and about 7 spoonfuls in I found a bug in my soup. My coworkers and I all ordered the same soup minutes apart, however I went to pick my meal up and they ordered delivery. I Showed my coworkers immediately after I spit the bug out (yes it went in my mouth, sooooo disgusting) just to make sure I wasn't crazy. One of my coworkers that ordered delivery quickly phoned them and told them about the incident. Rather than taking care of the situation immediately, we were interrogated by the employee over the phone and they requested we drive back to see the bug. They also gave my two coworkers a hard time stating "their order was not in relation to mine" because it was placed separate from theirs, however we all ordered soup from the same pot !!!! After going back and forth with them and driving back to the location with the bug in hand, a refund was finally processed for all 3 meals. This restaurant needs to be inspected to be sure there are any other critters in food. This was absolutely the most disgusting thing ever and I wouldn't have written this review if their customer service was better. I would never recommend this place to any one and my coworkers and I will never eat...
Read moreI wanted to update because it has now been a year since I posted this review. I would like to commend Annies because we STILL order from them atleast once (or twice sometimes) a week and it is always AMAZING!!! This is probably the best pizza place in Coral Springs and Parkland!! Thank you Annies!!!😋
My review a year ago: We usually reserve leaving a review, unless its unpleasant, for a few visits, due to possible inconsistencies but I'm here to tell you, we haven't had a single bad experience with this place. Their pizza, calzones, Stromboli, and WINGS😋 are FANTASTIC! We have tried many pizza places in the area and have been disappointed, especially with how much you pay for a pie down here. We are NJ natives and so, NY and NJ are a high bar to reach. Everytime we've ordered, the dough is fresh, the sauce is awesome, the cheese is very flavorful, and the quantity you get for the price you pay is unheard of (in a good way!). We order once a week from this place now and plan to continue. The staff is always friendly, it doesn't take long for the food, and you can tell they put their heart into their cooking. Thank you Annies!...
