When we got home, we realized that one of the two meals we ordered was completely wrong. I was given an Impossible Burger instead of chicken fries. The two meals ordered were for my sons. I tried to call the number listed on the receipt and was taken to a recording asking to leave a message, mailbox was full. No other option so I had to load both children (3&6) back into the car and drive 30 minutes in rush hour traffic on University to get a refund. Needless to say both children were hungry so they split and ate the chicken nuggets meal on the way. I got to the drive through and the “manager” was rude and dismissive. I was very polite, explained multiple times that I never ordered the impossible burger, I wanted a refund and because they wasted my time and gas and both boys had to split the $3 nuggets and fries that I would appreciate a full refund of $15, no harm no foul. Surely such a small amount wouldn’t hurt, given that this “fast food” visit now took over an hour out of my day. The “manager” proceeded to speak slowly to me as though I was a slow minded person without my faculties or ability to do simple math. I repeated very politely why I wanted the refund, to which he replied flatly “we don’t have a phone” and just started saying “good day ma’am” over and over, louder and louder cutting me off and getting to the point of almost shouting at me! I’m sorry but what business “don’t have a phone?” Incredibly rude, disrespectful and unprofessional right in front of my kids over a simple request for him to right a wrong that I didn’t cause in the first place. I wasn’t going to waste more time on him. I did call their 800 number and filed a claim. 15 min later they come to the window for the first time saying that they are closed
Meanwhile they were still making their food to take home but my friend how about my food that has been paid already? The bag full of burgers is sitting there and they telling me they close and have to come in the morning to make my order.. so 20 min sitting on the drive thru watching them cook some burgers but not for the online orders for themselves and keeping the online that was already PAID FOR IN ADVANCED 6 whopper jr 2 double whopper 16 nuggets.
