Tiger Sugar — Restaurant in Coral Springs

As boba tea lovers, my husband and I drove from Delray Beach to try Tiger Sugar in Coral Springs at 4PM on Sunday. After waiting about 10 minutes to order, we waited another 30 minutes for our 2 drinks. When we finally received our drinks, there was no boba. We asked the girl working the window why there wasn’t boba in the drink. She looked shocked and told us they ran out. I could understand running out right before you close because you aren’t making more, but as a boba tea spot that only sells boba tea at 4PM when you don’t close until 9:30PM, it’s not acceptable. I asked her why she didn’t say anything when we ordered and she told us it was because she couldn’t just make an announcement she ran out. ….thats exactly what she should have done. While we did get a refund, it really sucks because the drink was pretty good. We won’t drive out of our way for this...

I came here tonight excited to try a Boba drink for the first time, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Not being familiar with the ordering process, I had a few questions. The employee who came to the window seemed to have an attitude right away. At first, I didn’t take it personally, but it quickly became clear he was visibly annoyed with me simply because I needed some guidance.

When I tried to place my order, he told me what I wanted wasn't made the way I requested. I asked for a suggestion, and instead of helping, he sighed loudly and rolled his eyes. At that point, I decided it wasn’t worth it and left. I ended up going across the street to Kung Fu Tea, where I had an awesome experience! They were patient, helpful, and made me feel welcome — the complete opposite of what happened here.

I was super excited when I found out Tiger Sugar was opening a location in Coral Springs. I waited for my daughter to come home from college to take her for our first time. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. After I stood at the counter for about 20 minutes with no greeting or a “We’ll be with you soon”, I was then told that they had run out of Boba. (Still never received a hello or can I take your order). After about another 10 minutes, a second worker finally took my order. We got the passion fruit mango tea, lychee black tea and strawberry mochi. The drinks were delicious, (minus the boba) which made up a tiny bit for the horrible service. Next time, maybe I’ll order for pick up since the tea is the best we’ve had...
