Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Cornelia

A joke. I have been here on several occasions and after today I will not return. There is always some sort of discrepancy. I walked in ordered right behind an older guy. I was made to pay after ordering. The caucasian male who ordered before me received his order and paid after. Whatever. Who cares. A couple of the same race comes in and orders about 3-5 minutes after me. They ordered two giant subs compared to my 1 regular sub. They got their sandwiches before me. They were even confused because when one of their sandwich # was called they sat still. I got up and that’s when it was determined it was one of their 2 sandwiches. The guy said “I thought it was us but I was confused because…” EXACTLY. Because there was someone ahead of them they didn’t see how I could have been sitting there before their arrival, yet their food was ready first & yes we all ordered “hot subs”. That’s ridiculous there is no way it took more time to prepare substantially less food. The female who took my order already had a smug look on her face when I asked for a suggestion and decided opposite of the suggestion. I opted to select no tip because of course it’s not mandatory for a take out meal and the service was not superb, literally nothing special AT ALL, barely a smile. The subs are already well over priced in comparison to its competitors. Please be for real. I am not sure what happened here but it didn’t look good and it felt like EXACTLY what it appeared to be. Save yourself the trouble. I didn’t even eat the sandwich I was so disgusted, got home and ate a microwave meal. Over $10...

I’m only rating this one star, because I don’t have the option to put zero stars. I would put negative stars if I could. The first time my boyfriend and I tried this location, it was chaos. There were a few people who appeared to be workers sitting at the tables and talking while there were only 2 people behind the counter helping us. While we were trying to order our food and ask questions, the people who were sitting at the tables were shouting the answers to the people behind the counter. Extremely unprofessional. Tonight we decided to give this location another chance, and again, it was chaos. My boyfriend tried to order a hot sandwich, which they said they couldn’t do, no big deal, but then my boyfriend ordered a cold sandwich and the workers who were behind the counter just stood there for a few minutes before doing anything. Again, there were workers at the tables not doing anything. While the man who was attempting to make my boyfriends sandwich was having trouble with the meat slicer and was trying to get it back together, one of the workers who was sitting at the table was trying to show this man videos (not pertaining to what he was doing). Which in turn, distracted him from the meat slicer and what he was doing because we then discovered he made my boyfriend the incorrect sandwich. The two of us have decided that we will never be returning to this location. The service is awful. Our orders aren’t correct. We love Jersey Mike’s, but this location needs to be shut down, or they need to hire a new staff....

The inexperience of work force shows but they are trying really hard to work as a team. They got 1 of 3 subs orders correct. Requested no peppers on a #17, there were a few on it. Appeared as if they were having a little problem with their grill work, not keeping orders separated. #56 they got correct. Ordered a #13, white, giant, Mike's way with juice on the side, to go. No juice in the bag. The bread was fresh made and the #56 beef was a little overcooked. The beef on #17 was perfect. Cheese on both was on the bread in one small area. The lettuce was brown and tomatoes were watery on #13, could have been fresher. I know it is hard to get help right now and that partnership with local high school is in place at this location. So I am rating them a 4 because they are learning. We all had to start some place. I still enjoyed my sub and will return when I want a great sub. I know they can become competitive with the Clemson Jersey Mike's with a little more experience and training. (Note:I've eaten Jersey Mike's subs from NJ to FL and I rate the Clemson location as the best 👌 5☆, better than...
