Boba Star — Restaurant in Corona

Terrible service. We have been going here for a couple of years and the employees are usually friendly and we haven't had a problem before. But today my partner and I went and the cashier heard a different drink than we actually ordered. We didn't realize until we saw the drink. We told them it was the wrong drink and we ordered Matcha. It would not have been a problem for us if they just gave us the right drink. However, the cashier and one other employee proceeded to argue about how we should have corrected the cashier if we heard her say the wrong drink. Obviously we didn't hear her say the wrong drink. There were loud kids, cashier was wearing a mask, and there is plexiglass between the cashier and customer. They argued a couple of more times until finally agreeing to make the correct drink. I couldn't believe it. Again, usually no issue but to be treated so poorly at an establishment...

This place is sort of hidden and pretty small but it’s in a great place! They have so many options and my friend abs I LOVED the drinks!

I got my usual taro milk tea and he got one that was caramel apple or something like that. They were both bomb!

I have been to some other places in Irvine that have a lot more herbal, natural teas that seem a bit healthier. The ones that we had here at Boba Star are definitely high in sugar compared to other places I’ve been so this is definitely a place for a sweet treat.

I love that they have a ton of other options like French macaroons, a large variety of mini ice creams, and plenty that I haven’t tried yet but I plan to return.

Said my order THREE times and my order came out wrong. I wasn't even mad, I wasn't even gonna say anything but I didn't like my drink so I mentioned that it was wrong and the lady literally told me that I ordered it that way and turned me away. So I went back in and asked them to re make it cuz I DID pay for my order. I literally gave you my money so the least you could do is give me some customer service.
