Fuze Pizza — Restaurant in Corona

Been here twice now, and had a similar experience each time. You can specify a pick up time when you order online. The first time, I placed an online order 5 or 6 hours ahead of time for my daughter's birthday. One of the pizzas I ordered was for brisket. About half an hour before my order was supposed to be ready, I get a call and the message they left me was that they don't have brisket on that day "...so...yeah." was what the message ended with. Apparently, it's only available certain days, which is what my wife was told when she went to pick it up, and she was told she could have philly cheese steak topping as a substitute (which was so-so), and it of course ended up being late. If it's not available, it shouldn't be orderable online.

Today, I placed my order an hour and a half ahead of time -- skipped the brisket because I learned my lesson, and got a BBQ chicken pizza and chicken tikka calzone. The pizza was not bad, but not exactly exceptional. The calzone was dry and lacked tikka sauce (the chicken had tikka seasoning, but I expect a calzone to have sauce that drips out when you cut into it). I also thought it was odd that the calzone came with marinara sauce. Why not tikka sauce? All that aside, the order was not ready when I arrived, despite ordering it 90 minutes ahead of time. My order wasn't even in the oven yet when I arrived at the appointed time, and I needed to wait an additional 20 minutes.

Yes, they were very busy and had 8 staff running around -- obviously tired, so I didn't call anybody out on it; but, please get your act together. If there are too many orders for your staff to handle, your system needs to limit what times a person can schedule their order to be picked up at, when ordering online.

Three stars for "ok" specialty pizzas, but grossly...

Honestly the food here is not up to par. We had it one time and it wasnt that good but decided to give it another try because its a halal pizza establishment and I think its important to support any halal food stores in ones area but this time was the same. We ordered buffalo wings and got barbecue wings instead. We even ordered extra buffalo sauce on the side and didn't get any. The Mediterranean pizza was not what I expected at all and kalamata olives, feta cheese, or artichokes don’t make something Mediterranean. It tasted more like an Italian pasta as the pesto completely overpowered the pizza. There was no harmony in all of those ingredients together. And this is coming from a pesto lover but it just did not taste as expected. The Philly cheese sub was my husbands and he did not enjoy it. I will say that the wings, although we got the wrong order, tasted delicious. I don't think that the prices are reasonable and I read on the owners response to another review that the cost reflects the price of the ingredients but honestly the quality/freshness of said ingredients is not reflected...
