Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Corona

Update...3 days later and I .just heard from Sonic Insurance. Crum and Foster.

They are willing to pay for repairs, after i pay upfront. Period. No rental car.

Well, let's see. .my car is illegal to drive in CA due to the vehicle code. I have one vehicle, so currently, legally I am not allowed to drive my vehicle. They will not pay for Lyft or Uber or a rental car while waiting on parts or repair. They won't pay for the duct tape I used to get my vehicle home. According to their adjuster that is all my responsibility.

Not to mention, the is no savings to fix my vehicle and rent a vehicle.

Appearantly it's my fault their clients employee wrecked my vehicle.

ORiginal post....Went to Sonic in Corona on 11/17. Server fell and broke my driver's side mirror. (Accidents happen. I'm just glad he was ok) when another server came out with my food I was charged for my meal and told the manager was busy.

When the manager arrived I was asked a bunch of questions while he filled out the report online. I was not given a copy of the report. Only his name and store phone number.

I called later for his supervisor information and who their insurance is with. Called Liz and have repeatedly just been sent to her voicemail. A third party contacted me to tell me I would be contacted within 48 business hours.

It's been 2 days. Still no communication with Liz or an insurance adjuster. My car is not legally drivable in CA due to the missing driver side mirror. I am being totally ignored. It is going to cost almost $400 to replace (less than my insurance deductible) and 3-4 days. Until that time I am out of a car.

I am sure if I had damaged Sonic property they would contact me immediately.

I did call today and spoke to the site manager. Got another phone number and another voicemail. The good news is I again inquired about my server and he was not hurt. Other than...

This location is right off the freeway so I stopped in for breakfast one day on my way back to LA. The listing says the store opens at 9 but when I pulled up to the drive through at 10:30 I got a recording that said they were closed. After I said “Hello” someone answered and asked if they could take my order.

The girl I spoke with sounded stoned, she couldn’t remember anything that I asked for and had to correct her 3 times when she repeated my order. Then when I paid she didn’t give me back my debit card and I didn’t realize it until I was back in LA.

I tried to call the store as soon as I realized what happened and the call wouldn’t go through because the mailbox was full. When I finally got through 2 days later I spoke with the manager on duty who confirmed my card was at the store. I told them since I lived in LA and don’t travel very often I wouldn’t be able to pick up the card for about two weeks. She said it wouldn’t be a problem, he would put it in the safe and it would be there for me.

Two weeks later I finally had time to go pick the card up, I tried to call the store before I went just to be sure the card was still there and again I couldn’t get through because the mailbox was full. Deliciously prepared, my cheese- burger with grilled 😋 onions. I was very pleased that they grilled them as requested. It was very flavorful and juicy!

A&W Rootbeer use to have a places, employee's on roller skates & parking in the shade. Their specialty A&W Rootbeer floats, in the fifties, around 60 - 70 yrs ago.

Now, I get to treat my grandchildren, they enjoy all Sonic's large variety also. Not being able to makes decisions easy at all for any of us. Yummy 😋....

Malts, milk shakes, ice cream cones, chocolate🍫, cherry🍒dips. Banana spilts, burgers, fries, etc. In Whittier, CA there was a place called Rubies, the original place still stands after 59 yrs plus.

Sonic is the next best place, except no taquitos, & variety of fresh burritos. Pastrami/cheese quesadillas', flavored snow cones & etc.

Great memories with family and relatives. Now a new generation gets to enjoy 😉 Sonic's large variety of food and desserts 🍨.
