Denny's — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

Placed an order for 11 and was there at 11:20 they asked me 3 separate times for my name and order. One lady said it wasn't ready so I said ok. Walked out and came back in 10 minutes later asked again for my order and their supposedly manager claimed she had already given that order out to someone with my name. I told her I was the only one there for that order and had just stepped outside because they were busy and had a line. She insisted my order wasn't there. I asked for a manager and she was rude and said she was the manager then after a few minutes conveniently found my order. All while this was going on people were getting frustrated and starting to complain about waiting over 45 mins and still no food. So they began to leave. She handed me my order an hour and 10 mins later after I had originally placed my online order. Just to get home and find out it wasn't even right. We asked for the kids pancakes to be the birthday ones and insisted got chocolate. Eggs were not cooked as requested. I hadn't been back to this restaurant in years because my 1st few visits were not great on timing of food as well as staff issues. Now I know I will never give this restaurant my business again. Clearly nothing has changed in this environment. If I could give a lower rating I would. Corporate needs to do a visit to this location and fix...

DON'T GO TO THIS DENNY'S RESTAURANT - we have been there twice now, we travel a lot for work & Denny's is our 'go to' restaurant... this particular one is very bad. Each time we had to wait 30 minutes for our food, & the drinks didn't arrive till the food did. The air con is so high that the food got cold on the table before we are able to finish eating. The waiter takes your order then ignores you for the rest of your meal, you have to make a scene just to get their attention for service. The person responsible for cleaning the tables is either extremely lazy or non-existent... every time we've been there to eat, their is no more than 15 customers with 30 - 40 tables & almost half the tables have dirty dishes still sitting there, the tables that had been cleaned were not done properly there is always salt/ sugar &/ or syrup till sitting on the table top & on the seats & it doesn't matter if it's a booth or not... I'm truly disgusted with this restaurant, Denny's has a fine reputation but this one doesn't even live up to minimum expectation... we won't be back to this one again & will not recommended it either.... Calallen Denny's you need to seriously lift your game as your an embarrassment to an otherwise great franchise!!!!! If I could have given you no stars or negative stars I would...

I came in Tuesday evening and sat with a server named Bobby. From our first greeting he made it very clear he wasn't happy we chose to come in that evening. He was sarcastic and curt with my wife and once realizing we were married (we are both women) repeadily asked us if we were ready to check out. Mind you he asked immedietly after our apptizer and every 2-5 minutes after our food arrived. When we made it clear we had the intention of staying and finishing our meal he sulked off to the back and randomly would appear to either ask again or give us a nasty look. We decided half way through our meal that we would rather leave hungry than be in what seemed a homophobic stand off and headed for the checkout stand where we stood for nearly 10 minutes as he stood in the server station on his phone. Despite everything we tipped him 20% and wished him a good evening. He looked at what we had tipped and said "yah sure". We were in Dennys for less than 45 minutes, were there before midnight, and were the only customers in the building.
