I will start off by saying my wife and I did not eat lunch/dinner here, but did have breakfast two days in a row while staying at the Omni - so this review is based solely off of our breakfast experience. Day one - I opted for the breakfast buffet which if you’re not sure what to order , this would be your go-to choice. Endless amounts of bacon, sausage, eggs, oatmeal, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, meat and cheese trays, chobani yogurts, a bread/bagel/pastry section, dry cereals, you get the point. I had a little of everything and was STUFFED. The breakfast buffet included an omelette bar and a fresh made waffle bar - which I also indulged in. The wife had the French toast which is phenomenal if you like a sweeter breakfast. Brioche bread French toast style, berries and cream, syrup ,sweet and delectable and buttery. One the best French toast dishes I’ve ever had. Day 2 - this time i opted for the chilaquiles which is essentially fresh made tortilla chips, scrambled eggs, queso fresco cheese, ranchero sauce and sliced avocado in a cast iron skillet - amazing ! Waitress warned me it was spicy , I didn’t care - she wasn’t lying. I cleared the whole plate and it was delicious , but I was definitely sweating when I was through . On day 2 , my wife loved the French toast so much she ordered it again ! It really is that good . Service was attentive and friendly , and they have great coffee roast if you love coffee. All in all very impressed with the breakfast here. The view is also amazing during the morning as the daylight shines through the glass windows and ceiling and the...

The hostess and waiter were nice and accommodating. When we were seated, the table next to us were upset at the 1 1/2 hours they had been waiting for their order. The staff were apologetic and another staff member made contact with them as well trying to make amends.
We weren't in a huge hurry, so I didn't really notice that from start (drinks, appetizer, entrees) was in total about 2 1/2 hours. Our waiter also apologized stating something with a printer and the kitchen not getting our order.
Honestly, we were happy for a peaceful quiet place (by comparison to other restaurants near by) But when paying the check, we heard yet another apology for the slow kitchen. Looking around, it wasn't busy.
For the price, the food was not good. The same marinade was on the calmari entree, the meatloaf and the pork chop. A disappointment for sure. I had a little of the calamari, a bite of each of the entrees and we boxed up the rest. Shortly after getting home, severe GI upset. We threw away our $100 leftovers not knowing which was to blame.
The following statement for anyone visiting downtown/ocean drive: ocean drive has become a hangout for folks with loud cars and racing. We had a lovely view of the water and witnessed so many vehicles racing...did not see ONE police car in the 2 1/2 hours we were there. With families visiting, horse-drawn carriages on the waterfront...only a matter of time until these hot-rod guys wreck and hurt an innocent bystander...not to mention it makes the area feel less...
Read moreThis place is pricy but nice for a splurge on a dinner with a view of the ocean. You can call to make reservations for dinner and can request a table with a view of the ocean. They bring a complimentary hot loaf of bread with house made honey butter. We had the beer steamed mussels and the crab Mac and cheese. The crab Mac and cheese was packed with crab and delicious larger chunks of bacon. Overall it was a very large serving that more than satisfied our hunger. We even had to take some in a to go box. The mussels came with Texas toast and were in a delicious tomato-based broth. We got a bottle of wine that was $28 on the cheaper end of what they offer (maybe the cheapest). Our waitress was very nice and attentive our entire stay. This restaurant on the second floor of the Omni Hotel. Valet parking is complementary when dining here which was nice and convenient. Beware taking the highway here, there is a lot of construction right now and Google Maps was not up to date. If you can, avoid the highways when...
