2025 update ... we said last time NEVER AGAIN, well we tried again ... OMG! big, no huge mistake!!! parking still has not gotten any better. have to park too many blocks away. have extreme trouble walking any distance but had no choice. thought we would buy drinks on way to seats ... uhm $28 for a double mixed drink $11 for 1 beer ... really? NOT gonna spend $58 for 2 drinks. then get to seats, most uncomfortable to be trying to sit for 3-4 hours. now for the rodeo ... WTH was that horrible gong thing for timed events. contestants do not have time to get horses seated, time starts not when horses cross barrier but when that horrible gong bangs down from 10 to 0. time starts then, not when barrier crossed. too many contestants got penalties unnecessarily or disqualified. times shown on screen were not true times. WTH is wrong with buc days rodeo? never have I seen such a disaster. who & why try to change the rules for pro rodeos that have been used for decades if not a 100 years. this is how the contestants & horses have trained for generations! then some idiot that obviously has no clue what it means to rodeo decides they know better! you will now lose the best & top contestants, cause the ain't gonna come back to this stupidity & unfairness. you are also going to lose the few true rodeo fans that witnessed this stupidity. in case you didn't notice there were very few actual rodeo fans there. the seats started filling with pretend cowboys & girls for the concert. please understand the rodeo company was great, especially trying to make this disastrous idiocy seem OK for the fans. the same for the contestants, they tried & gave it their all. it is the arena & buc days that is the problem. try going to real rodeos or even watch the cowboy channel & get a clue. to be honest, I just don't see this pretend rodeo being able to make a come back after this. if a true rodeo fan, don't go, it ain't worth the effort. oh, & move that d**n carnival back down the bay where it used to be. there is absolutely NO reason for it to be jammed up against the coliseum, NONE! would have easier rodeo & building access, more parking, traffic distribution, & most of all common sense! NEVER AGAIN! rodeo was ok ... but the parking HORRIBLE! (as usual, but worse!) we arrived at ABC at 6:00pm, the rodeo started at 7:00pm. we drove around for 55 minutes trying to find a place to park. impossible! husband finally dropped me off as i am unable to walk too far without causing leg pain. still ended up having to walk 5 blocks around carnival to get to rideo entrance. he ended up having to park 3/4 - 1 mile away and still pay $20. unvelievable! did not get into rodeo until 7:30, we missed opening ceremony and at least 2 events. WHY ... WHO'S IDIOTIC IDEA ... JUST STUPID THINKING was it to put the carnival right in front of arena entrance? the rodeo and carnival are not related other than being part of buc days, there is absolutely no reason to place them together. absolutely ruined the rodeo by blocking access everywhere, then blocking roads off. there are other areas to set up carnival, therefore spreading out people and traffic flow, parking and access to events spread out so there is at least reasonable expectations and enjoyment is possible. it is way too expensive to have such a horrible experience every time! 1 1/2 hours to find parking to pay $20 to park 3/4 -1 mile away. the abc planning and management is the absolute worst! we have wasted at least around $2000 over the last 3 years and can say EVERY event was a dissappointment! (it isn't the entertainers or events, it is abc's incompetant management of it!) we are done, DONE with abc ripping us off with their complete incompetency!!! from now on we will spend the $ to go and stay out of town so we can enjoy the events we pay for. i absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND any event at abc unless your expectations are really rock bottom. 1 star given to post, but a minus 5...

IF YOU ARE A VENDOR AVOID AT ALL COST! you'll be better off taking the vendor fee they charge and flushing it down the toilet. they have the vendors in the bank center away from all the carnival, and far away from the concerts and rodeo. There is no foot traffic in the vendor area. I had to take a wagon over to the concerts to sell anything, and then one of the sponsors from Physicians Premier Emergency Room was extremely drunk and started yelling at me to take the items back to "trash island" luckily that got me a sale from somone who felt bad. But if people who sponsor the show call it Trash island that shows how little respect they have for us. This show has been one of the worst I have ever seen. The walk way had no signs, it wasnt Lit up, they had half the doors locked, vendors had to pay money out of their own pocket to make signs to draw any kind of crowd and still no one came in. They put me in another unacceptable and unsafe location in the back of a parking lot. Cars were literally a few feet from my serving window. No place for customers to stand. A Buccaneer official tried to move us to another location. He told us to shut everything down and get ready to move. Removed the hot grease in fryer and got ready. When he came back he said he was over ruled by a higher authority. He said he would get us our entry fee back since we didn't get the location we paid.
