Edit: after quite a few trips back to this store, I can see the amount of dedication the individuals of the game store have for the culture. Reasonable prices, games , trinkets, and pieces from the past are common a novelty in this store. That said Not only has the staff given me more of a reason to come back everytime, but it seems they’ve figured it out on how they can improve customer service. From small suggestions to being greeted by name when I walk into the front door. The experience is always different and great everytime my family and I come in now. In this, the staff has turned around the way I reviewed the store before hand. With a newly restored faith in this store we will improve the score to a 4.5. Will I ever use the repair center again? Not sure but only time will tell. Thank you Tronix. Previous Review below the downfall is the repair side, and thus bringing down the score substantially. Here’s the short of it, I paid 160ish dollars for them to refurbish my Sega game gear with a gamble that it might work. They removed all old capacitors, and replaced them with new ones. However because it didn’t actually fix it, through two weeks and horrendous communication, a new power board was recommended for 50 more dollars once I showed up in store. I declined they removed all of the new caps, and returned my console. I also received a partial refund of my 160. I received 130ish back to my card, and paid a mando diag fee. I’ve included photos of my console after for reference if anyone wanted to see. Also noted my console had never been opened before and after re inspection, since I’ve chosen to repair my own console, I noticed a screw tower was broken on the bottom left corner. The Long of It is… I took in my Sega game gear to get repaired, and the gentlemen were all upfront and transparent. Recapping my system would set me back 160ish dollars. Included a deep cleaning, the recapping, and a small warranty. Also noted, was that the console even recapped, could possibly not work. And if I wished to not proceed they would remove all the caps they replaced. Leaving a mother board with missing pieces. I completely understood that gamble. I was in no rush and understood the repair would take some time as well. After the first week I missed the first update and was left a VM on the consoles progress. I called back the following day, with the update being that the console was not finished, but would be completed on the following day. Four more days past with no update, so I called the store back. The response was that it was finished, and recapped. But the console was not staying on. So it was troubleshot to a bad power board. And there was no pricing yet. Nearing a business trip, the next day I decided to pop in for an update after two weeks. I saw the progress made and found that a new pwr board would be 50 more dollars. Immediately I said no, and they uncapped my game gear put it back together and gave it to me. They refunded my money but kept a small 20 dollar diag fee for the attempt made to repair my console. If I could recommend anything to solve this problem, it would be to wait to charge the full amount to repair the systems even if it’s not guaranteed to work after an initial attempt. 160 could be quite a bit for someone to give up right away. And The diag fee should be collected first before the diagnosis. I wouldve felt way better leaving my console there for 20 bucks and being told what it needs as opposed to what transpired. Also communication is a key component in business, and although there was one call made during the duration of my repair, I still felt I had reached out more than I had to about my consoles progress. I appreciate the effort from the Tronix team, but I expected a smoother experience than what it was.

I came to fix my iPhone screen just a line in the screen nothing too serious still works and all but annoying to look at , and after receiving it my phone died out in a couple of minutes it heated up and turned off leaving the store, and wouldn’t charge. I go the following day to see what’s up and they gaslight me that in order to fix it I need to replace the battery FOR AN EXTRA 100 dollars I agree because I need this phone fixed. But he says we can’t take it because we’re already closing I say okay I’ll be back tomorrow. I go I drop the phone and she states that for the repair the back glass would break I agree as long the phone works. I go back to pick it up 3 hours later because that’s ā€œhow long does repairs takeā€ and not only is the back all broken up, but the repair didn’t even fix the phone. The phone is now just a broken brick with no chance of it turning on. I tell him for a refund for the screen and he denies it because my phone was already in ā€œbad conditionā€ because it would heat up, when I brought to the first time. My father goes inside to discuss is this he pays you and you give me a broken phone. And the employee argued that I signed a waiver stating I agreed about the back glass breaking. I go to repair shop to fix my phone screen, pay 160, and in return I get a broken brick that has glass falling off of it. Horrible customer service wouldn’t recommend to anybody getting anything fixed here. Came for a simple issue and leave 160 dollars and iPhone less

Sam and another worker (didn't catch his namešŸ˜ž) behind the Card counter really sold me on so many classic Pokemon singles as well as Pokemon Colosseum for GameCube for a great deal (for double in-store credit no less, too!) I always come in to add to my Pokemon TCG collection and just nerd out with people that share my passion for these games. They plan on hosting Pokemon tournaments in the future and already host One Piece card tournaments, but my favorite part about this store is that there's so much they offer - from plushies, to cards, to games, to consoles, heck even electronic repairs - they manage to cater to many different fandoms and collectors. It's evident that the owner and staff have a passion for doing this and there was a lot of love that went into making a place like this for gamers. I really appreciate that. Come to their new location off SPID for a weekend (because trust me...you'll need more than one afternoon) to check out all the great deals they have and see the magic for yourself! 10/10

Donavan really helped me out, last week I got a original 3ds and today I picked up a 3ds XL. Both times the team have been amazing and very knowledgeable!! I will definitely come back anytime I want my retro consloes/games. Again I can't say enough how great this crew is!

Update-8/15/2025, I have been a customer here for months and have probably spend and traded well over 1-2K. I absolutely love this store, However I lowered my 5 star review to 4 stars due to the repair center. I took my New 3DS for repair July 19, I got the device from Facebook and the speakers did not work than the device did not turn on. I took it to the store and they quoted me about $50 for new speakers but needed to diagnose the problem because the screen wouldn't turn on. I was absolutely fine with that, with in a week I got a call saying the speakers are working however I needed a top screen replacement. They gave me the quote and told me the new screen will come in between a week or two. I've had to call the store myself atleast once a week for an update and as of today 8/15/25 the new screen still has not come in. I under stand shipping delays and somethings are out of our hands but my main thing is after the first week of dropping of my device I had to call myself for an update. And after almost a month of fixing my device I would think that time frame warrants a update.

Again I love the main store and will definitely continue my business but with the repair side im having a hard time with them.

Update 8/17/2025- Kyle called me and apologized about the lack of communication, to make things right he offered me 10% discount as well as a screen protector for my New 3DS when the screen comes in. I was very appreciative over the phone and I love that they do look at store reviews and thrive to be better. This place is absolutely amazing and even with the hiccup I can see them thriving to be better because they care about the gamers!! Will continue to use all aspects of this business and proud we have...
