For anyone who is on a healing journey with their diets and has not been able to safely eat out- this is a really clean, tasty, and honest option for you. This sweet little Cafe is great. Everything they make is gluten free and they do it really well! I love their chicken salad sandwich, their mac and cheese is to die for, and i a huge fan of their scones (sweet and savory) and kitchari in the winter time too. Also, pretty much all of their sweet treats are yum. Whenever I feel like a sweet treat I know I can get something there that will not make me feel awful afterwards. They make a lot of things from scratch and have very high integrity. Their espresso drinks are great too (and I am pretty snobby about my coffee). They are the only ones in town who use alternative milks without crazy additives in them (they either make their own or use the Malk brand). It's a great place to grab some food, to get some computer work done, or to meet a friend. I love their bathroom esthetics. Just a really pleasant place to be in. My one and only complaint would be that I'd like them to be open on Mondays and Tuesdays as well. It's also a bit pricey for me, so I can't go every day, but honestly, as someone who cooks most of her food, I totally know that that's just the price of clean food...
Read moreYowzas, this place was fantastic! I got the veggie sandwich, which was loaded with fresh crunchy veggies, perfectly ripe avocado and a delicious garlic herb sauce on a supertasty toasted sandwich bread - served with tortilla chips and fresh fruit. Got a fudgy oat brownie to split with a friend later, and it was equally delish. Everything on the menu is gluten-free! I'm picky about what I eat, and Ants on a Log fulfilled all my hopes and dreams. Staff is friendly; space is open, airy and pleasant. Restroom is large, bright and clean. Windows open to outdoor seating and greenery on one side and adjacent bouldering gym on another. I've already rerouted my Saturday plans to include a trip to Corvallis - specifically to hit this eatery. Three cheers for...
Read moreThe food and drinks here are amazing. I got a latte made with their in-house made almond milk. The almond milk really brought the coffee flavor forward, helping me wake up and feel energized. I also got the oatmeal, which had spaghetti squash and chia seeds in it, as well as lines of hazelnuts, coconut, hemp seeds, and cranberries on top. It was so hearty and warming that I felt myself slipping into a meditative trance of mmmmmmm. The staff brought me a sample of their overnight oats which was delicious and had whole apple pieces in it. This place was exactly the start to my day I needed and the oatmeal left me feeling satisfied until lunch time. And bonus, there are open windows to the rock climbing gym next door. Highly recommend...
